Overall, it was a nice stay with a very accommodating staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful! It was hot, fresh and provided a nice variety.

Cons:

Check out could be a bit later. Didn’t get much of an opportunity to just relax.

Pros:

The beds were comfy and seemed clean. The front desk attendant that checked us in was so informative and helpful! We appreciated her so much. She made it very easy to find our rooms, as well as the vending machines, guest laundry, ice machine and pool. Parking was easy.

Cons:

While in the shower, the water temperature changed often. As if it were changing due to toilets flushing throughout the facility.

This hotel is a pleasant, clean option, convenient to I-5 as well as local shopping and dining.
Pros:

All the hotel staff, including Liz at the front desk, were very warm, friendly and helpful. The property itself is in decent shape but could use some work in the common areas in terms of modernization. Overall, though, the environment was pleasant and comfortable. There's a computer and printer in the hotel lobby, and it came in handy for something we needed to print from an email. I appreciated that Betty, the General Manager, reached out to me after I left feedback through the Choice Hotels post-stay survey. It was a nice and very personal touch, and I felt that she addressed my concerns so that future guests will have a better experience. The location was great and very convenient to I-5 as well as dining and shopping options in Kelso and Longview. Overall, the stay was pleasant and enjoyable, and this hotel is a solid option in the area.

Cons:

The general manager contacted me after my stay and indicated they are working on improving the common areas. The bedroom portion of our room was nicely appointed and modern, and the bed was very comfortable, but the bathroom and entryway are very dated and have not yet been renovated. The GM said these parts of the rooms will also be refreshed and renovated. The entire room was very clean despite some of the older fixtures. The breakfast was disappointing, though. They did not have scrambled eggs available to go with the biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, seasoned potatoes, and DIY waffles that were served. They had hard-boiled eggs available, but when you want a traditional American breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, and waffles such as you get at other comparable hotels, the absence of scrambled eggs causes the experience to fall flat. Some of the hot options were not really "hot," and the GM (Betty) said she will take measures to ensure the situation is corrected.

The room was comfortable

Cons:

Bathroom hot water didnt work. Side door was broken and guests were propping it open. Doors are for security. There was no good place to take the dog to pee or poop. Only had one chair and tv stations were terrible.

the air conditioner did not work well, sleepless night.. and someone fighting in the next door it was noisy.. wouldn't recommed if u are a light sleeper like me, especially air conditioner not working is tough...
