Pros:

The ambiance in the hotel is definitely grown and sexy. The suites were nice and roomy.

Don’t stay here! It’s filthy!
Pros:

This hotel is outdated and filthy! From the rugs, to the walls, to the furniture! Everything is filthy! The front desk lady Nadia told me that this is standard when you go to hotels! I travel all around the world and that is definitely not the case! Stay away! There are far better hotels in Charleston! If my stay and parking wasn’t non-refundable, I would have left and went somewhere else! Worst customer service ever!

Great Location
Pros:

This place is a solid 4 out of 5 stars, and it deserves every positive review it receives. For the price, you would expect free breakfast and free parking—especially considering they charge three different taxes (local, city, and state). However, I’m not going to let that overshadow the most important part of this review (the staff).
In particular, Nadja who works at the front desk demonstrated exceptional hospitality and service during my recent visit. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction truly made my experience memorable. It was a sold out weekend due to a hockey tournament next door at the Carolina Ice Palace, and despite having to remind kids repeatedly not to run in the lobby, dealing with guests frustrated about the full parking lot, answering nonstop phone calls, and assisting walk ups with questions, she maintained complete composure, handled everything with grace, professionalism, and a genuine smile.
Thank you for providing such a delightful stay. I will gladly recommend your hotel to friends and colleagues, and I look forward to returning in the future.

the property was great it was clean i wish the refrigerator was working but wasn’t but it was ok.

Doubletree falsely advertised their hotel as airport location and it is not.
Pros:

The location is awful. They falsely advertise this as near the airport and it is not. I asked for a refund and so far they have not done so.

Cons:

This location is not near the airport. I actually stayed at the Doubletree across from the airport and it was fine but it is advertised as a convention center location.
