We really enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton!

A special thanks to David at the front door, who assisted us promptly and shared helpful local advice and transport tips.
Rosemary was also incredibly helpful and friendly - rare these days to see such great authentic customer service.

Beautiful hotel inside and perfect location to explore London. Would recommend!

L emplacement , le bâtiment historique. L amabilité du personnel des l accueil à l extérieur et la qualité du service.
Nous étions en chambre premium.

Cons:

Attention aux photos sur booking car avions réservé une chambre pour 3 avec vue sur rue et canapé en plus des 2 grands lits et en arrivant. Pas de vue et toute petite chambre.
Nous avons dû payer 300 pounds de plus pour etre surclassés et avons demandé les petits déjeuner offerts. Ce qui a ete validé. A l appui des photos de booking pour notre réservation

Excellent welcoming base in London
Pros:

Excellent with welcoming and attentive staff. Mykola in concierge was amazing in helping me plan bus routes to get me to where I wanted to go. Beautiful peaceful and historic building. Public rooms very elegant and bedrooms very comfortable. Wide array of choices make for a great breakfast

Afternoon delights.
Pros:

Our visit was planned around afternoon tea with five family members. My wife has encouraged me to experience this British tradition at many venues including some very posh and glamorous hotels around the world and our afternoon tea at the Fitzroy is way up there with the best. The opulent restaurant setting, attentive staff and amazing in-house made food was top draw and we couldn't find fault with anything. This hotel deserves much praise for investing in a great British institution that is the 'afternoon tea' and we would recommend anyone to go and visit this remarkable venue.

Comfortable and relaxing stay

A stunning and grand hotel. The staff are amazing and are so welcoming from the moment you walk up to the doors, helping us with our luggage.

I arrived on my birthday and they left rose petals on the bed and table and a birthday cake with a lovely note which was a really nice touch.

Cons:

I know London hotel rooms can be quite small but it was very small for a queen room. You couldn’t move in the bathroom without the door closed and the light switch on the outside of the bathroom meant the other person would wake up as it was so bright any time we used the bathroom during the night.

Good hotel, but needs to make some improvements

Convenient location to the tube. Beautiful, historic property inside and out. Great breakfast. Loved the thoughtful stuffed stockings delivered to our rooms on Christmas Day. Had booking issues with guest relations prior to arrival as well as the correct number of IHG points to be deposited in our account after paying quite a bit to stay there for a week. Worked directly with the hotel’s operations manager and she fixed the issues. Thank you Estefania! And, though housekeeping did a good job cleaning our rooms, they kept forgetting to pick up our used dishes/glasses/cutlery.

This will be my new home away from home in London.

Our recent experience was truly remarkable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism. The efforts of Rosemary, Elliot, Heet, Ley, Lottie, and the guest relations team greatly contributed to making our stay memorable. We look forward to returning in the future, as everything exceeded our expectations. The property is gorgeous and modern with everything you need. It is safe and convenient for walking and accessing the tube system. It is worth noting that parking may pose some challenges, so utilizing public transportation or rideshare services such as Uber could be more advisable for those traveling by car.

Loud music well into the early hours
Pros:

A beautiful hotel in a lovely location.
The biggest disappointment was that there were functions on in the ballroom on both nights that we stayed. We weren’t informed of this and when we came back to the room, you could hear the music so loudly even though we were on the 3rd floor and it went on well after midnight. My partner went down to reception at one point to ask if they had any earplugs because we couldn’t sleep, they said no. When asked what time it would be finishing he said 11.15pm, but like I said it went on far later than that. It really has dampened my experience, and has made me have second thoughts about booking again.
