Pros:

Location, staff interactions.

Cons:

Building was dirty and dated, scuff marks, chipped plasterboard, stains in carpet, dated popcorn walls/ceiling completely unmaintained and inexcusable for a global franchise to have such bad repairs and maintenance. If this is the ibis I'm scared of what the budget ibis looks like.

Flexible, helpful
Pros:

We had prebooked transport however there was issues with the pick up delaying our checkout. The hotel manager was great in allowing a later check out so that we could acquire another means of transport

This budget priced airport hotel is a gem!
Pros:

Good value, convenient location to the airport, staff provided great service, very comfortable bed, clean room, good breakfast included in the price, good restaurant for evening meal, early wake-up alarm, airport shuttle booked and charged to my account. Everything possible was done for me to make my stay convenient and stress free. I'll be back next time I have an early flight. I have already recommended this budget priced hotel to others when flying in or out of Sydney airport. Thank you to everyone at Ibis Sydney Airport hotel!

Cons:

Just a minor note... when I came out of the lift on the fourth floor, there was a smell of urine or something similar. Perhaps someone had had an 'accident', but in the morning the smell was gone. It was not enough for me to complain about, but I wanted to be completely honest with my review.

Nice stay by the airport
Pros:

Close to the airport and blackout shades so you can sleep soundly.

Cons:

For some reason the heat to my room never really got above 27. It was lukewarm and I was actually quite cold. I eventually warmed up throughout the night but I think guests should have control of temperature not have a centralized control panel.
