The room was extremely dirty, old, and full of mold. Everything inside the room, from the walls to the furniture, was filthy and outdated. The reception staff were very cold and formal, clearly aware that something is wrong with the hotel. They didn’t smile even for a moment, making the whole experience even more unpleasant.

Upon arrival at Tirrenia Greenparc Resort, we were greeted by an extremely rude and arrogant receptionist who informed us that dogs over 10 kg are not allowed in the hotel. This crucial information was never mentioned prior to our arrival — not in the booking confirmation, nor clearly listed in the main description on Booking.com.

When I asked what we were supposed to do, the receptionist bluntly told us to find another hotel and added that our reservation was non-refundable. At that point, I requested to speak to the manager. A person who barely spoke English came to talk to us and eventually said they would make an exception and issue a refund — apparently, this wasn’t the first time they had faced a similar issue with guests and pets.

However, as of June 2nd, I still haven’t received any refund. It is now clear that the manager lied to us.

This kind of essential information about pet restrictions should be clearly stated at the very top of the listing, not buried in fine print. The way this was handled felt like a deliberate trap — the hotel keeps the money, and guests are left stranded with no support.

Totally unacceptable behavior and a complete lack of professionalism.
I strongly advise against booking this hotel, and I will be filing a formal complaint with Booking.com.

Totally recommend - best hotel in the area
Pros:

The room and overall property were very clean. The pool setup was perfect — with separate deep and shallow areas, which kept the kids away from guests without kids. Big plus. Cocktails at the pool bar were solid, and breakfast had plenty of good options. Great location near the beach too.
