Comfort Inn Albert Lea at Trails Travel Center

I especially liked the breakfast and housecleaning crew. They were very friendly and helpful.
All seemed to be very happy. I do wish though that some staff not smoke at the front door and keep trash cans clean and emptied.

Liked that is was near a convenient store and restaurant nice if you just want to grab something front desk staff very friendly,breakfast was delicious

This property was okay. The bathroom was dirty and had mold, so we were not happy with that, but everything else was pretty good.

Good cleaning and not a big fan of putting shoes on to get breakfast that's the 1st time

Very clean property. When I first pulled in, I could tell it was more suited for an easy exit for truckers. It is very well kept and lit. The place was very clean. There were many many families staying there as well. I felt super safe. Right next-door was a large convenience store and a couple of Dining options.

The room reeked of smoke smell. No other rooms available so we had to cancel and drive another 30 minutes out of our way to find another room

Hotel at a truck stop that wasn't clear in the description. Room had a strange odor when entering the first time. Fairly quiet considering its location.

Pool bottom was slippery gross looks of algae..not taken care of. I usually always stay here when in albert lea... they need to clean the pool..and for a heated pool its freezing..

I did not stay this night and still got charged. Hopefully my travel insurance pans out.

The pool was disgusting, just dirty everywhere, electric outlets are dirty, no carpet in the room, stains on walls, dirty linens. I will not stay here again. Gross.

Quiet, clean, safe.

Good stop for a night. There’s a truck stop next door so I would think it could be noisy. Either we were really tired or it was a slow truck night. Best night sleep in 8 nights. Bed was great. If you’re a breakfast person - skip it.

We’ve stayed here several times. It’s dog-friendly, convenient walking trail, easy access from the highway and restaurant and gas station in the same area.

Just needed a good night sleep, it’s near a weight scale for semi-trucks & the freeway. Quite a bit of noise but the place was clean & staff friendly.

Front desk people were very sweet! Hotel is very outdated WHICH I don’t mind! It gives a little nostalgic feel to it! But the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Probably a very old mattress with lots of dead skill cells and hair and just so uncomfortable to sleep on. There was no body wash either in the shower. The plug ins for a charger would not work. The room was like 78 degrees when we got there and could not figure out the thermostat for awhile. Tv was the worst it was so old you couldn’t watch anything on it or even connect ur phone to it. Shower was so old and the pressure was just the awful and there tub is so old and outdated it was probably very clean but it felt dirty and old. There’s barely anything to eat around the hotel expect fast food. There’s nothing to really DO either. It’s definitely more for a one night trucker stay or just need something cheap and quick. It’s definitely not a resort type of hotel by any means and we knew that going in just definitely expected a little bit more
