Parking options were poor
Pretty good experience. Our room was 1223--very clean and comfortable. I think it is a junior suite. Looks over the river and ballpark. We only had one night, but I was tempted to stay another night.
The downside was that the hotel is undergoing renovation--our room was not affected but I don't know if other rooms were affected. What did affect me was that I had planned to eat in the hotel as my husband was at a business dinner. One of the hotel restaurants was under renovation and closed and the other restaurant was booked for a private party so there was no where for dinner at the hotel. I asked at the desk for options close to the hotel but they didn't seem too eager to help. We were eligible for the concierge on the 14th floor so I went there. The snacks were ok but I have been to Marriott properties that served much better snacks. Anyway the snacks were my dinner that evening. I also didn't know that we had to pay for a glass of wine in the concierge lounge--$7 so not too bad but not too long ago a glass of wine was complimentary.
Once renovations are completed I'm sure the hotel will be excellent.
Perfect location
Parking
Hotel is really nice and great location by the roberto clemente bridge. Room was awesome overlooking the bridge and pnc park for baseball.museums are close and plenty of restaurants. The lobby staff were my favorite people. Tanesha,Erica, and Richelle were so sweet and helpful. All 3 of them assisted us with questions about the restaurant and billing questions. More importantly they treated us and our dog Levi like family thats a good thing lol.I hope their supervisors see this review because they were great. I would definitely return to this hotel.
typical hotel breakfast, restaurant was understaffed but food was good and served hot.
Newley remodeled restaurant
Beautiful hotel, excellent location to the ballparks.
Rooms were under construction, but thats a good thing! 😂
Wonderful location for access to PNC Park, short walk across the Roberto Clemente Bridge. Beautiful hotel that looks great on the outside, but can't get the little things right.
My daughter and I come here yearly for 2 night stays. It's always a good experience, with great access to baseball games, good parking, and various local food and drink.
We still come every year, so complaints are few. But, every stay has either a refrigerator that doesn't work (and/or has interior mold), a shower/tub that won't drain (today's problem), or sheets with concerning stains. None of that is enough to ruin a visit, but it's still disappointing.
Our view was spectacular. There was a Pirates game and we could watch from our room.
I called a week before check in to see if something could be done as a surprise and they said they could accommodate but to call a day before check in. When I called the day before, I got a different answer. So I had to handle this surprise on my own which luckily worked out.
Close to all of our activities during our stay
Nothing
great location for theatre and restaurants.
The property was beautifully decorated and it's in a great location.
The only thing I didn't like was that you could not have a late checkout unless you've had X amount of stays through Marriott rewards.
Beautiful hotel. Location was perfect. Staff was great.
Ok - for what this room cost, complimentary coffee other than the terrible stuff in the room was expected. $10 for 2 regular coffees in the lobby was an unpleasant surprise.
Convenient location to do stuff in Pittsburgh
I paid on booking.com and payment notification was not received by hotel. I was double charged and had to wait for charge to clear with bank. The front desk staff was very friendly about fixing the issue.
A bit dated hotel, large clean rooms and pleasant staff.
Tub had a clog and showered with a pool of water so that was not the best.
Near Starbucks
Restaurant food was not great
