Delta Hotels by Marriott Helena Colonial

I have 5 kids 4 of which are in travel sports, my husband travels for work, we both are also world travelers and I have never had anything stolen from my suitcase until now. The crazy thing is something told me in my head to take pictures of my suitcase’s belongings and I pushed it to the side, I’ve should have went with my gut! We were gone most of the day for a volleyball tournament, during that time my $200 Veja shoes were stolen from underneath my laundry bag. The housekeeper says she didn’t do it which honestly I believe her but she also had two other girls with her. Either housekeeping or maintenance stole my shoes! I got very bad vibes checking in and again should’ve went with my gut! Do yourself a favor and do not stay here and if you do lock up your stuff! Staff is not friendly either, there’s much better hotels in Helena!

I was here for 2 nights - i was in town for work. I checked in around 11 PM. It was a breeze. The receptionist was very helpful. She walked me to the pantry which had snacks and stuff since i have Titanium elite. Its a big hotel in terms for size. it was a jacuzzi suite with a fireplace. i did not use either but was cool. Parking is free. I grabbed dinner at their restaurant one night - they were able to get my food to go - so was able to eat in myn room, Wireless was good. gym is pretty good as well. Would stay here when i return for work.

The location was great. The restaurants left a lot to be desired. I figured there would be homemade meals rather than frozen stuff. The room was great and I appreciate that.

Friendly, helpful, attentive staff

Hotel was clean and beautiful

Wonderful grand entrance and very friendly staff. We brought our service dog and everyone was very respectful. The room was quiet and clean. Indoor pool and hot tub area was immaculate with plenty of pool towels. The only areas for improvement would be that the bathroom was very outdated and the breakfast (for 2 adults and one kiddo) was very expensive.

We were there for the International Mustang Show and they handled the event and people wonderfully. Appreciated the Senior discount for breakfast buffet. The banquet Sunday night was delicious. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet.

Very great place to stay

Comfortable sleep is what you expect when staying at a hotel. This was not happening at this hotel! Management decided to schedule a work crew to clean the kitchen exhaust vents starting at midnight. This included a 20 foot job trailer parked outside my window with high pressure washing gas engine equipment. When I called the front desk, I was told " oh, they are almost done ". No they were not! My nights sleep was already ruined. This cleaning project lasted until 4 AM with doors slamming and equipment moving in and out. We have always rented two suites/ rooms. This time it was 101 and 103. Warning! The big over stuffed hard pillows in the suites are also not usable. I have lost any reason to stay here again and will be looking at other options for our continued travel to Helena.

Staff was amazing

Arrived, got room key and opened door to a messy unmade room. Went back to desk and got a new room with now problem. The desk attendant was amazing!!

Grew up in Helena, nice to see the iconic staircase is still a focal point

Only went to the restaurant because of its good ratings on other websites. Food was very good, and the service was good. It is an upscale restaurant, not your typical Montana “casino”. Would definitely recommend
