Very nice stay
Pros:

We stayed here as a stop off point on route to the lake district.

We had a very warm welcome from the guy on Reception and was quickly given the key to our room on the 3rd floor, there was a lift so getting our luggage to our room was very easy.

The room itself was a nice size, very clean and had soap for washing your hands as well as body wash in the shower.

The tv was also a nice size, unfortunately no catch up tv but for the price we paid (£30.99) this wasnt an issue.

Tea and coffee making facilities in room.

The car park was huge and is free, you just need to enter your car reg details on the machine inside the hotel, we were lucky to park right under the window of our room so we could see the car clearly, always peace of mind.

The hotel has a cafe/pub onsite but is also very well located to the Hungry Horse pub next door, if you want a pint or something to eat, we ventured out the hotel and turned left, there was a premier shop 10 mins walk away, if you need any last minute snacks etc, which was handy, we found a fantastic place called Ginger Bistro, the food was amazing and the staff was lovely and friendly, they do very nice cocktails.

Only a few negatives, the bedsheets had horrible dirty stains on that hadn't been washed or changed since the last guests, by the time we noticed we were ready for bed and just wanted to sleep, so we turned them round and made doo for 1 night.

We were only given 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for the 2 of us, again we didnt complain and managed.

Other than this we could recommend and would stay again.

One of the best TL I have stayed in.
Pros:

I spent 3 nights here as I was in Preston for a family visit. I often stay in Central Preston but parking is a pain and hotels are on the expensive side so I decided on Broughton, it was a good decision. It has only recently rebranded as a TL so the rooms have a fresh feel about them. I recently stayed in a new TL in Wiltshire, their rooms were tiny but those in Broughton were a great size and comfy. It is well equipped with a restaurant / bar and pub next door. The location is very good, right next to J32 of the M6 but no traffic noise. It is a 20 minute walk to Black Bull Lane which has a lively pub, a recently opened bar and artisan alehouse. . You can also get the bus at this junction which takes you to Central Preston in 10 mins. You have to register for parking but it is free and plentiful. Staff are great, will come again.

Amazing
Pros:

We stayed here for 1 night and by gos it was lush. From the room to the dinner it was amazing. A special mention to the guy Mike who served us. He was a real gentleman and helping in the situation with our little 2 year old who was hell bent on moving everything around as in the furniture and he quickly said if it is keeping her happy let her do it al tidy it all back together after yous leave. He was amazing with her interacting and playing games with her. His service to myself and wife was second to none he deserves a medal for how he coped with it all and the mess my little one made didn’t phase him at all.

Probably The Best Value Hotel Deal In The UK
Pros:

I have stayed in accommodation in the past a few times at around fourty pounds a night and thought afterwards well it was a low price you can't really expect luxury so I was only expecting something basic at this Preston North Travelodge but what a surprise because it was superb. Everything worked perfectly and in good condition. The room and bathroom were also really spotless. The whole of the hotel was very impressive. The television had a good quality picture and over fifty channels available. The shower looked good and performed okay but nothing to enthuse about that much. Breakfast was all you can eat for £9.99 I was tempted to buy it but I put weight on very easily and I am on a diet but maybe next time. Just a few minor things which maybe would have made the stay even better. Some extra bedding would have come in handy because the heating went off about nine and one duvet was not quite sufficient in early February. Consequently I had to wrap the duvet round myself to ward off the slight chill on movement. There was no telephone in the room so a single occupant had no recourse in the event of a serious medical issue. I had to go down and get my own toilet roll from reception because there was none in the bathroom and I had to trudge up the stairs to the top floor again because I am not keen on using lifts. On the whole though in my opinion for fourty pounds this was a hotel bargain which surely can not be bettered in the UK and anyone thinking of staying here should go for it. There is a large car park with an equally large modern pub next door called the Phantom Winger. Despite its size this hotel is quite easy to miss and I only spotting it by chance I did not see the hotel signposted on the extremely busy main roads which are alongside the hotel but overnight there was no noise from the roads or other rooms just the vehicle lights visible on the ceiling.

Preston north .. worst hotel to stay at
Pros:

The hotel is situated right next to the motorway. On the one night we stayed the highway agency decided to cut down trees and brush and put them through a chipper machine outside our bedroom window for 3 hours between the hours of 12 am - 3am. The hotel did nothing about it.
Never got an apology or refund or compensation or offer to move room... nothing

Enjoyed my time in the hotel
Pros:

Absolutely no issues. Staff was kind , receptionist was helpful and lovely. Easy parking with pub just outside the hotel. Bedding clean. Room was warm which is what i like. Bathroom was nice and tidy. I wouldn't mind to have a bath instead of shower but at least I showered myself quicker and I run to the pub 😂

10/10 All Travelodge should be this excellent!
Pros:

The best Travelodge we have ever stayed in! Everything looked new, fresh and clean. We arrived later than intended due to the severe weather conditions, the young man at the front desk was efficient and friendly. The design of the standard room we had booked looked better than any previous Travelodge (and we have stayed in many) it was upgraded and redesigned with walk in shower, large bedroom, big tv, spotless throughout. Would definitely stay here again.

Very poor service, refused to refund breakfast
Pros:

Having booked through their corporate system previously (where service is much better) I decided to give them a chance and booked a private trip rather than use my preferred PremierInn brand. What a mistake! Hotel stank of paint, was extremely noisy from the road, staff weren’t interested in helping at all and refused to cancel my pre paid breakfast after they informed me it wasn’t available until 30 mins after I needed to check out. Add to this pillows that felt like they were filled with rocks (only two, not the four that were advertised and it makes this location definitely one to avoid! Pay the few pounds more and stay at a PremierInn as at least you’ll be treated as a person rather than someone to fleece for every penny.
