Great location but feels old and needs a facelift. Definitely doesn’t feel clean
Not clean. Small tv. No extras to make it feel special. Check in was slow and not very warm. Didn’t get told about breakfast or facilities. Room upgrade was pretty poor too.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. The staff provided excellent customer service throughout our visit, with a smooth and hassle-free check-in and check-out process.
Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day, keeping our room clean, tidy, and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was another highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and we would happily stay here again.

Location
Comfortable bed, excellent buffet breakfast
My husband went outside to the car park to make a phone call and get some fresh air. The staff approached him in an unfriendly manner, requesting information about the room number. This could have been done in a more professional manner.
No fresh air
The location is great . Close to city and park and walk by river
The bathroom was abit dated re bidet and pressure of water , toilet not best of flushes and shower not great
The hotel is just across the road from the Botanical gardens and not too far from the river, both of which offer lovely refreshment when you're travelling. The buffet breakfast is also really good.
The hotel is becoming in need of renovation, but it was adequate.
Great bed and terrific shower

Conveniently located. Friendly staff that had no hesitation to go out of the way to help.
We stay at Royal on the Park whenever we come to Brisbane. There is always a relatively minor issue which is not surprising considering the age of the facility. This time the toilet didn’t flush properly sometimes we had to flush it twice.
Great location, nice staff and restaurant. Rooms spacious.
Room had a beautiful view overlooking the Botanical Gardens and glimpses of the river. I loved the location and found it easy to get around Brisbane by public transport or taxi.
