Great value, great location, great staff.
Pros:

good spacious room.

Cons:

Toilet bowl diameter is too small. Looks like low cost or kindergarten size.
Final shower pressure was ok, but the taps required to be adjusted multiple times to get the right temperature mix.

Fantastic location and comfortable.
Pros:

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room size was good. Lifts were responsive and the staff welcoming.

Cons:

The bathroom had a few issues - tap was leaking and the switch between shower and bath tap didn;t quite work which affected waterflow in the showerhead.

Very friendly well situated hotel. Would stay again.
Pros:

Lovely hotel very well situated in the city opposite the botanical gardens. Exceptionally friendly staff. Pool. So helpful with letting us leave our bags for the day after we checked out.

Cons:

Bathroom a little dated. Very hard to turn the bath/shower taps off. They dripped loudly though maintenance did come and sort.

Pros:

good location that was within walking distance to plenty of shops, food, the park and river city cats.

Cons:

unfortunately for the Royal, there’s a 70 and 79 story building under construction right next door. eyesore for a few more years

Pros:

The proximity for participants who entered the Tour d’ Brisbane plus everything in walking distance, 100% not to mention parking facilities excellent!! Thank you, we will definitely be back!!!

Cons:

The Breakfast price $, Sometimes a lot of guests yes want breakkie but when the hotel offers a set price buffet style it does I feel deter guests….when traveling it’s nice to have a few breakkie options NOT set price

Pros:

The location across the road from botanic gardens,close to the river and bridges over to Southbank,very short stroll into city centre. Good sized room with plenty of space to put suitcases,good sized pool with plenty of loungers.

Cons:

No toilet facilitis in pool area so had to go into hotel when needed.
The in room QR code menu prices need updating as we had to pay more when in the bar than advertised price.

Excellent location for exploring the city.
Pros:

Excellent location for exploring the city. Buffet style breakfast had plenty of options. We made good use of the swimming pool after a days sightseeing.

Lovely clean hotel
Pros:

This was a lovely hotel, it may seem a little dated, but it is honestly a great hotel. Its immaculately clean, especially the bedrooms and bathroom areas. Staff were helpful. It has reasonably priced parking albeit a tight parking garage for today's larger cars but its onside and convenient. We found the hotel in a good location just opposite the Botanic gardens, which are lovely. A short walk to the river and ferries and right across from the bus stop for the free local loop bus.

Cons:

There's building work right next to the hotel, but it actually didn't affect our stay but could be an issue
