We had a very good time in the hotel.
Pros:

It was a very nice location, right in the middle of Jersey City. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect, with good view of the city of New York's skyline.

Cons:

I thought Statute of Liberty Park was adjacent to the hotel. However, it was not very close. Because of the snowstorm that hit days earlier, the trash had not been picked up in several days, and there were an abundance of large rats running loose in the streets below.

Cons:

Sent a request to change dates in advance. Did not hear back. Emailed. No response. Called. Someone picked up and said they “cannot change” and that it is Booking.com’s fault. Two days later they “declined” the change request. So, clearly they can respond.

People’s plans change. There is no need to lie or blame other businesses. Poor morals.
