A great start to our week in Portugal and certainly the nicest place in Porto to stay.
Pros:

The view from the room overlooking both the river and the plaza was superb - just a pleasure to sit on the little balcony and watch the scene below. The breakfasts were also superb - all that lovely cheese in the wine cellar! The staff were friendly and welcoming - looked after the luggage until check-in and, in fact, arranged an earlier check-in for us. Thank you.

Great location poor service.
Pros:

This Hotel is in a superb location right on the river and very close to all the restaurants and famous bridge.

Cons:

The service is woeful particularly given its star rating. We were there three days; day 1 it took 40 minutes to get our correct hot breakfast order, we were set a mail to give feedback so complained and were given a complimentary half bottle of port. Day 2 we got back to our room late afternoon and it hadn’t been cleaned we had to ask for it to be done. Day 3 we got back late evening and there was a water leak from the bathroom ceiling, someone came, removed a ceiling panel and found a bucket ! obviously there from the last fix. When we checked out we were given another complimentary half bottle of port. We were travelling light so couldn’t take either of our apology gifts, we would rather there hadn’t been the problems in the first place.

Er man til god mad og portvin - så er man kommet til det helt rigtige sted.

Et helt fantastisk udvalg og venlig betjening - Hotellet ligger meget central placeret i gå afstand fra de fleste ting.

Cons:

Det værelse vi boede på lå desværre tæt på en udsugning som startede præcist kl. 07:00 hver morgen - lidt træls
