If you wanted a quiet location you might not like this hotel. The buskers play every night and the football crowds could get a bit loud.

Best located property in Porto!
Pros:

Great location. Beautiful view from the room. Excellent breakfast

Cons:

They doubled billed us initially. My wife checked in for us because I had to go park the car in the public lot (parking is expensive and a challenge when you first arrive) and they then created another reservation under her name and billed her as a no-show. Took a number of calls to have the charge reversed, and still nicked us for $200 on the reverse charge.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt am Fluss Douro
Pros:

Wir hatten ein superior Zimmer gebucht, doch da hätten wir auf die sehr nahe gegenüberliegende Hausfront geblickt. Wir konnten aber auf ein Zimmer im 4. Stock mit Blick auf den Fluss umbuchen. Der Ausblich war grandios. Da haben wir auch in kauf genommen das es auf der Uferpromenade etwas lauter war. Wir haben unsere Fenster erst um ca. 03.00 Uhr geöffnet. Da war es dann ruhig. Die geschlossenen Fenster sind sehr dicht und man hört keinen Lärm.
Das Zimmer und das Bad waren ausreichend groß und sehr sauber.
Das Frühstück war Buffet, aber man konnte auch von einer Karte auswählen. Für jeden etwas.
Die Lage war perfekt. Direkt am Fluss, viele Lokale, Fußgeher Zone, Geschäfte, Musik.
Wenn man es liebt inmitten des Trubels zu sein, ist das Hotel perfekt.
Im Hotel ist es sehr ruhig. Das Personal an der Rezeption, im Frühstücksraum und auch das Zimmerpersonal ist überaus nett und hilfsbereit.
Der Empfang mit einem Glas Porto Wein war auch sehr nett.
Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen!

Cons:

Die Toiletten im Erdgeschoß bei der Rezeption sollten öfter gesäubert werden.
