When I return to Richmond, I will stay no where else but the Holiday Inn Express

Great and convenient location. The room was very confortable, plenty of light and a nice view.
Pros:

The room and commodities were perfect for us. The Lobby, the room and corridors were clean with a friendly staff. We even walk to the park nearby the hotel and felt very safe.

Cons:

I traveled with my mother, a senior of 92 years old and I regretted not bringing with me a portable chair to use in the shower. Floor with soap was a bit slippery for her. I improvised putting a towel on the floor of the shower. Safety first!

Good location and a comfortable stay. Definitely recommend!
Pros:

The check-in and check-out was quick and smooth. Staff was friendly and helpful - they gave us extra towels right away when requested and offered to help with restaurant options. We were a family of 3 and had booked the suite with two Queen Beds which was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast spread was great.
The hotel lives up to its 'Downtown' name, with proximity to major tourist sights. We spent two days in early-April 2026 and used Uber/Lyft to get around. We visited Maymont, the State Capitol, Canal Walk, Carytown and the VMFA and overall expenses were reasonable.

Pros:

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. They made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The overall experience was great, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Good room after a few hours of debating I didn’t get the room I originally paid for from the beginni

Got double charged without notice soccer kids (teenagers ) running halls all through the night knocking on people doors and running could not sleep sufficiently
