You can't say *perfect*. Literally, nothing is. So let's say that I experienced enough of the good with the bad and came out at the other side with a feeling of contentment from having stayed at the Cleveland Hyatt Regency, during the May 16 - 17 weekend. Particular negatives or criticisms aren't worth mentioning or dwelling on. I was not so *terribly inconvenienced* by any such occurrences. I will always love the overall setting of the facility and it is a marvel to know what it has become, from what it was originally purposed to be.
It was a very nice place and was close to a lot of downtown places
The beds are very small for 2 grown people but we made it work
Great location, comfortable rooms, convenient parking 60 for valet an friendly staff.
Only feedback would be including breakfast and smart tvs or a simple thing like chromecast for streaming surfaces.
The staff was great, nice and responsive. After a bad room for the first night, the second room we were finally put in was very pleasant with comfortable beds and a good view. The building itself is historic and stunning. The arcade is beautiful. Great location to walk to the Guardians stadium, Rocket Arena and R&R Hall of Fame. Valet convenient albeit expensive
We were initially put in a king room that on other floors is an electrical closet. Really small and dark, terrible view of an AC unit, weird furniture way too big for the space, We asked to be moved, and they were very nice about it. We were given a very nice room afterwards. Valet was good but $57 a night is crazy. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good. My suggestion - if a patron is ordering a nice breakfast, don't charge $5 for coffee - it should be included! Towels were thin and scratchy - not what I would expect in a hotel this expensive.
Location was amazing. So close to all the professional athletic events and lots of restaurants to chose from within walking distance.
Parking was expensive
Water pressure in the shower was terrible
Staff was not thrilled with allowing us to use a luggage cart
When we arrived we were told the marathon was occurring the next morning. As a result we could not request our car and when we did there might be a wait up
To 45 minutes. So I asked for a later checkout and was told it was not possible.
Location was perfect and could walk to the stadium. Place was clean.
Everything
Nothing
The hotel was gorgeous. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Prior to my stay I had communication with Director of Operations Tim and he was very helpful.
The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The location is amazing. The staff (management, Tim & Josh) were simply wonderful). I had an extremely bad experience while in Cleveland, but I must say the two of them went above and beyond to try to make everything better. Their professionalism and the kindness of the entire staff proved their dedication and concern for the guests at the hotel. I thank them, and if I ever decide to return to Cleveland, I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency again.
The hotel is in a great location and walkable to many locations in downtown Cleveland. The price was great for the location, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room was always clean and well maintained as well as stocked by housekeeping.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL property! The hotel staff was exceptional. I encountered one “problem” where my bed sheets were dirty, I went to the front desk and just asked for a new set and offered to put them on myself. They sent housekeeping up to replace and they even credited my account for breakfast to makeup for it! Completely unexpected and very much appreciated.
Honestly, zero complaints.
Very cool spot. Neat hotel in a great location. Walkable to all sports. Great staff and housekeeping. Banquet captain hooked me up with some outstanding salmon when I told him I loved fish. Just overall cool experience.
Great stay! The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. The location is great for downtown activities as everything is walkable.
The Arcade was beautiful! We ate at the 1890 restaurant, the food & drinks were delicious. The location was within walking distance to House of Blues, comedy clubs, craft breweries, a casino. It was centrally located to places that took a car rides to.
We also ate at the pizza place at the opposite end of the arcade. We had a pierogi pizza that was way better than I thought it might be.
