Beautiful history and architecture, but hospitality and amenities simply aren't up to par for cost.
Pros:

The beds were absolutely wonderful -- super comfortable and clean. Location was close to the heart of the city, so if that's what you're looking for this is a great spot for that. The hilight of course is the lobby -- the architecture is historical and beautiful (although the majority of the stores are empty).

Cons:

For the price of the room, the amenities were sincerely lacking. Fridge wasn't cold, the shower didn't drain properly, no free waters, and no place to put your luggage (a rack wouldn't be that great of an expense), and no closet. The "drawers" of the furniture fall out completely. For it being a "renovated room" it feels really outdated. You won't even have a kerig for your coffee fix, so expect to spend 20 bucks on 2 coffees downstairs. The lobby doesn't have a restroom available except in the restaraunt, so if you've been out all day and return at 10:10 pm don't try and use the lounge because the hotel staff will send out security to come pull you out of there. My wife had walked in at 9:50 (closes at 10) and they really sent a male security guard to walk in the bathroom and escort her out. He made sure to tell her she couldn't be in there, and how are we supposed to know that you ask? No clue. Anyway, she was embarrassed and they weren't very accommodating. The guy who checked us in on the first day was nice, but outside of that -- no smiles or hospitality. Expect to be treated like scolded children if you ask for anything. Also, question the safety of the area-- you will be approached for money, and possibly followed into the lobby (people will chase you into the hotel) so walk quickly and be aware of your surrounding. This is not an overexaggeration... there was a cop sent on site after multiple attempts had been made and this was on a Tuesday and wednesday, so I can't imagine how it could be on a saturday when people start drinking on 4th street.

I'd reccomend staying somewhere else, but visiting the lobby during the day to soak in the beauty of it without hurting your wallet for a lackluster stay.

No tissues in the room and one roll toilet paper. I would think for the price per night. You guys could be little more generous with the little things

We’d stay here again,
Pros:

Beautiful, updated hotel in a wonderful historic building. Room and bath were clean, beds were very comfortable, staff were friendly. We had a city view room, and the view did not disappoint! Located near downtown attractions, of which there were many.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

This is most beautiful hotel in the historic Cleveland Arcade, built in 1890. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The arcade was beyond extraordinary. Nightlife in the area is great, House of Blues, The Jack casino, and great restaurants. I was slightly disappointed in the room, they were very clean just not fitting with the atmosphere.

Historical Hyatt Regency
Pros:

Beautiful historical building in a great location. Room 813 was perfect: spacious, 2 Queen Beds, quiet, spotlessly clean, and a walk-in shower. I had spoken to Edwin prior to arrival and he delivered all my requests. Chris checked us in and was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and advising me to visit the Visitor’s Center (out the back entrance of the Arcade just across the street). The Hyatt staff were friendly and professional. We used 12,000 pts per night- and I thought the stay was wonderful! Great location to walk to all the tourist sites in 10-20mins: sports stadiums, Rock & Roll HOF, Train Station, and Broadway Shows (Playhouse Square).

We enjoyed eating at: the Marble Room (unbelievably gorgeous & delicious), West Side Market (crepes), Mabel’s BBQ (a bit too greasy for me), Heinen’s Grocery Lobby area (Mitchell’s ice cream), and the Vault (drinks).

Heavenly Pillows
Pros:

To start from the beginning of our trip, the valet guys were very nice and helpful, i would suggest using their valet because the public parking garage that is attached to the hotel is like $40 a day, and u cannot leave and come back without paying another 40. The valet is available 24/7 and u can come and go as u like for no additiinal cost. The reception agent was the nicest and most helpful man, not a bit snobby. The hotel is in a building that appears to be a mall, the upper floors are the rooms. Restaurants and a coffee shop within the mall. The Arcade. The room was super nice and clean, had a separate "living room", with a couch and huge TV. The beds were super comfy and had the most comfortable pillows I've ever used. The location was perfect in relation to the Rocket Arena. The water pressure was amazing. The best shower I've ever had, for real real. Room service food is available although we didn't try it.

Cons:

Nothing that I can think of that i didn't like. Well, no pool or gym. For the price, having those amenities would be nice. Now, they may have a gym that i just dont know about.

another time and place
Pros:

The Arcade is beautiful. From the frosted skylight to the atrium, it is enchanting, with elegant scrollwork, dragons, lush plants, warm light from above, streetlamps, and strings of lights. It evokes the feeling of stepping into another time and place.
The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. Room service was prompt and efficient. Breakfast at the 1890 Restaurant was excellent. We highly recommend this experience.

Must visit in Cleveland!
Pros:

A beautiful, comfortable hotel with helpful, professional staff. The hotel is centrally located in Cleveland offering a short walk to many attractions. We went for a wedding reception and were delighted.

We had fun because our team won but the room was a disappointment.
Pros:

Next to many restaurants and parks, town squares and Rocket Arena. Beautiful old building, looks like and old train station. The check in experience was not great but the gentleman who checked us out was very nice.

Cons:

I spent a little extra to get a "city view" but my reservation said "view" which was then explained to me as an "arcade view" which is basically looking out into the middle of the hotel from the window next to your door which of course, one would never keep open. The other room windows were dirty and looked out onto some sort of air unit, a cement floor and a cinder block wall. Horrible. Even with all windows open the room was dark all the time and nobody in their right mind would want to keep the windows open. Keep in mind, the posted room photos are on a bright, sunny day.
