Pros:

I went here for the chris brown concert with my girlfriend and it was not far from the parking lot that we had to drive too. The location was right downtown so everything was within walking distance

Cons:

Only one single elevator for everyone to use so it was a long wait to get on.

Because of room temp issue (no AC), it was very uncomfortable stay, would not stay again
Pros:

Room was clean, layout was good, breakfast also was good

Cons:

HVAC was not working properly temperature in the room 78-80 degrees, difficult to sleep with temp and humidity so high, thermostat did not work. When I told the staff the next day when leaving they said they will let maintenance staff know but offered no financial concession or other remedy. Because of the high temp in the room it was a very uncomfortable stay

Happy overall.
Pros:

Friendly check-in. Great "fun" location. I'm a "preservationist" so the hotel is a classic I'd recommend. My only negative was that being solo (and it was explained somewhere), the room was "European-style" meaning smaller. But loved the vibes of the classic building.

Cons:

Room could have been a little bigger. The shower is neat with all of the sprays BUT trying to figure how to turn on the water took a little figuring out.

Decent but surprise charge for parking
Pros:

Check-in staff was friendly, room was generally nice. Shower was hot with good pressure

Cons:

It should be stated clearly when booking that parking is going to be an extra $19.50 for the night. We were told at check-in that this fee would be waived, but then we were charged it at check-out in the morning. I would have chosen different accommodations if I had known I'd be charged that for parking a block away from the hotel.
The shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower didn't work, which was rather inconvenient to find out when I was already in the shower. The usb ports in the desk didn't work, so I couldn't charge my phone. I should have remembered a charging block, but it would be nice if features in the room worked.
It is an old building, which has its charms, but the uneven floor under the carpeting could be an issue for anyone less stable on their feet.

Parking was very limited. Saw 2 additional charges made and I know the room was in same condition as we received it. $250 room turned into over $350 room.
