Pros:

This is a little gem in Sausalito. My husband and I met in San Francisco 35 years ago. We decided to revisit this area again and was so delighted to find this beautiful hotel to remember and to create new memories. What a delightful place beautiful in every way.!

Great location, what has seen the best days sometime ago
Pros:

Location, location, location - restaurant Poggio was also very good

Cons:

We didn’t really like that the elevator was not running as we were on the fourth floor. Took them more than a day to fix it. Also, the place seems to be a bit rundown and needs a refurbish. We did not think that it was good value for the money.

À savoir : pas de room service / pas de petit déjeuner ni bar dans l’hôtel. Il faut aller dans la rue
À améliorer : une bouteille d’eau à l’arrivée mais plus les jours qui suivent … étonnant !

A wonderful gem in Sausalito!!
Pros:

I had a very lovely stay at Casa Madrona which I consider a tucked away gem in the heart of Sausalito. Victoria was a rockstar setting up my reservation while ensuring I had a wonderful time throughout my stay. Valet, and front desk team provided top notch service throughout.

Having worked in hospitality, I like seeking out spots with character. My room was spacious and well designed. It did not feel unimaginative like chain hotels. The art on the wall was intentional which says a lot.

The last time I had been to Casa Madrona was 2006. My recent stay was both for nostalgic reasons and sheer curiosity, was it going to be the same special place I knew it to be? And sure enough, it did not disappoint. I also love that the ferry to SF is a five minute walk, and if you get a room with an oceanside view, nothing beats the view of the water and SF skyline.

Gorgeous hotel, a must stay in sausalito.
Pros:

The room was incredible and large. We stayed in one of the hillside cottages and it was really nice. The bathroom included both a tub and a separate shower with great water pressure. They greeted us with a nice gift bag at the door, they took our bags and help us with the parking. The room had a nespresso machine and the mattress was very comfortable. The room was completely insulated and quiet.

Cons:

Would have been nice to have the ventilation in the separate toilet room, but it was not a big deal. Breakfast is not included.

Outstanding
Pros:

Everything was outstanding from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. Jim took care of us with the perfect balance of professionalism and a warm, whimsical personality that made the stay truly memorable. The room was clean, relaxing, and beautifully maintained, and the level of service throughout was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely return.

Schöne Unterkunft an sehr guter Lage
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Lage ist toll. San Francisco ist gut mit dem eigenen Auto, Uber oder mit der Fähre erreichbar. Gute Restaurants in wenigen Fussminuten erreichbar. Vom Hotel erhält man einen Gutschein für ein Glas Wein in einer Weinbar, welch 2min zu Fuss vom Hotel entfernt ist.

Cons:

Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Preis unserer Meinung zu hoch. Parkplatzgebühren (Parkplatz ist aber gut gelegen, gleich über die Strasse). Pro Nacht müssen zusätzliche USD 35.00 bezahlt werden - ebenfalls sehr teuer.

Gorgeous spot, lots to do and see
Pros:

The location was perfect— we were away from the crowds and Sausalito was very charming. The loft rooms felt bigger than the average king bed room.

Cons:

The mattress could have been softer, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. And the tub in one of the rooms didn’t stopper properly.
