Not as before
Pros:

Close to RER B and many restaurant and shopping options. Service very helpful, breakfast enough choices.

Cons:

the rooms were old and carpets are worn down and dirty, No shower door only a non fitting shower curtain. Water every where when in shower because curtain does not cover the openning.
No slippers even though 4 star.

In need for redecoration, overrated and overpriced.
Pros:

Easy to find, everything works. Two large tall windows (but these are not balconies as described during the booking). Easy check in, receptionists.

Cons:

Slow lift, had to pay 33 euros tax on top of the pre paid booking, broken tiles in the bathroom. Old scratched furniture, curtain rails not working. Cluttered and badly laid out room. Overpriced.

Pros:

Brilliant location. Close to metro and the stunning market street leading to it (Rue Daguerre). Lovely traditional Parisian building and interior. Clean and comfortable.

Le personnel est gentil et accueillant.

Cons:

La chambre ne valait pas son prix comparativement a dautre hotels du secteur.
Cest vieillot, usé, cela ne represente pas un 4 etoiles. Dommage pour le personnel qui n'est pas du tout a l'image des lieux.

Disspointing room
Pros:

The breakfast, personelle and the location was execelent. Breakfast was sufficient for a start, not too many choices but enough. Personelle was very helpful and kind.

Cons:

Even though I had stayed in this hotel 4 years earlier. Unfortunately the rooms had not been renewed at all.
The room I stayed was a disaster, the carpets were worn down and very dirty. It looked like they has not been changed since the begining.
Now for the bathroom, no problem with the cleanliness but the door of the shower I guess was broken and they replaced it with a shower curtain, which looked like a large plastic bag. It was ripped in some places. It did not cover the full opening so almost all of the water was on the floor like a pool.

Slightly dated property but very charming and affordable with comfortable beds ensuring a good rest.
Pros:

Close to the metro station, generous sized and comfortable bed, good view from a small balcony.

Cons:

Bathroom was a bit dated but it did work fine

Pros:

Location great for onward travel Gare Montparnasse. Close to Luxembourg area and easy to find. Hotel very pleasant and staff helpful. Great for Latin quarter restaurants.

Cons:

A little noisy, but only because rebuilding of the boulevard below window.
