The room was really spacious

Location across the road from new street station and main shopping district. Breakfast was quite good.
A little tired and in need of a makeover. Facilities are quite basic.
Central location. Comfortable bed. Freshly cooked breakfasts.
Room was chilly. No USB charge points.
Very quaint old hotel , so beautiful features , but a little tired. Good breakfast. The staff were all excellent , very professional and helpful.
It’s huge so a long walk to your room , but can’t be helped
Location was excellent. Good breakfast. Good value for money.
Toilet did not flush when I arrived and front desk staff start seemed incredulous. One accompanied me to room and comfirmed it did no flush. He pressed button about 75 times (no exaggeration) and it started to work. No issues after that.
A bit hard to find my way there. (up elevator)
A little dated.
Central and convenient
There were moths in the bed, wardrobes, dead moths on the walls.
Location was good for City Centre
Bathroom was freezing cold despite heated towel rail which was lukewarm at best and could not be adjusted. Sink was cracked and cold water was cloudy. Only way to keep lights on in room was to keep air conditioning on which was noisy. Instructions on how to adjust heating/air conditioning would have been helpful but there was nothing in room to assist. That and freezing bathroom spoiled stay, hence rating of 5 at best!!
We staid in a two room suite. It was clean and very comfortable. Excellent for working between meetings.
Bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect, central Birmingham right next to New St Station. There is always the problem of luggage storage before and after check in if using a rental apartment or B n B. Storing luggage right next to the station was a huge bonus. Lots of great restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
Decor just a little tired.
The room was lovely. Fairly clean and very comfortable beds.
Breakfast was just bad. Sausages filled with gristle. People quite rightly complaining that most items on the menu have a £5 supplementary cost when it's already expensive. The juice was empty the whole time we were there. No effort from staff to even look at it. Coffee needs a new mesh insert as bits of coffee in the drink. The portion size was tiny - a full English that was a spoon of beans, 1 sausage, 1 bacon, 1 mushroom, 1 tomato - this is for £24 per person!
