Great location for a reasonable price
Didn't have breakfast as only available till 9.30 which makes things slightly rushed. Most other places are available till 10 or even after that.
Central location, comfy bed, staff were really nice and friendly.
Hotel looked a bit tired/dated
Lovely spacious room and bathroom, with separate shower and bath. Breakfast was very good indeed, both the cold offerings ad the cooked component, and served by very pleasant staff. The location couldn't be better: very close to New Street Station.
Only one minor niggle: a small pot of tea, Earl Grey, in the bar was £5.20 per person. That seems a little over-priced.
The same tea in your linked restaurant, the name of which escapes me, was £3.95.
All good very nice room good bed
Nothing
Hotel was lovely, everything physically.
Construction noise outside during the night, whilst it is not their fault for the noise it was staff’s attitude the next day. Reception & breakfast staff telling us that the construction work is during the day only, basically that we are lying. We barely slept, I have emailed and done surveys with the hotel and no response. Breakfast was expensive and poor.
Would NEVER stay again. Poor customer service.
Room was clean and well presented.

Zero like
On a scorching summer day, I was charged a steep price for a room lacking air conditioning and only a standing fan. The sink was also blocked.
When I complained, I was offered a second room. However, upon entering, a sickly smell hit me – someone had urinated on the carpet. Feeling revolted, I had to leave the hotel. As a customer, I felt utterly unsupported and unappreciated. No one had even bothered to check on me or offer any compensation for my unpleasant experience. To top it off, for the £143 per night rate, the room didn’t even have a fridge.
Mini was so lovely when I entered. Everywhere was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was a perfect temperature. There was very little noise disturbance despite being right at the heart of the city - fabulous place to stay
