It was nice and clean awesome breakfast very comfortable bed staff was friendly and the whole lodge was clean and very well maintained

Nice hotel BUT

The location was amazing

Cons:

We paid for our room ahead of time on Booking. Between the time of check in and check out i was charged 3 more times by the property. Now its Monday and not all the money has been refunded so I have gone negative in my checking account. There was also kids running up and down the hallway until I called to complain at 11:30 p.m mind you we were on the first floor right by the desk so they had to have heard this going on but did nothing

Cons:

We only stayed 1 night, it was very difficult to reach someone to change our reservation. We ended up canceling the whole reservation and went directly through the property.

Overall, it was nice. Quiet, clean but some things overlooked.
Pros:

The room was very quiet, and we had a nice view of the trees from our window. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. Our beds were comfortable, and the linens were fresh. The pool and hot tub area was nice as well.

Cons:

Breakfast was not available to us on our second day. We waited for about 2 hours but there was only dry cereal and toast. There was no coffee offered - all dispensers were empty all morning. There were no clean towels in the pool area except for one.

RUDE HOST: FILTHY ROOM: GAVE MY ROOM AWAY TO A HOMELESS MAN!!!
Pros:

Upon arrival the front desk worker argued with me saying i had no reservations… Turns out he gave my room to a homeless man..

He argued and eventually even called me a liar, stating i didn’t book at the hotel and that he was not going to just give me a room. After FINALLY taking my ID and searching my name again he fussed at me saying I had already checked in and then he asked me why I was demanding another room, i explained that I hadn’t checked in for the 10th time. He then grew even more angry.. He then ran to the room after taking my photo ID and a homeless man eventually walked out of the room I paid for.. the front desk worker then came back stating that this could have been avoided had I “not booked online and just came in person”… ??

After 5 more minutes of waiting for him to give us a room he THEN gives us keys and the keys were to a FILTHY room; hair all over the place, crumbs, bed unmade, chair pulled out, dirty restroom… After going to the front desk he told me “I will not give you your money back, this is a misunderstanding”.. i even presented him with pictures!!
