Buyer Beware!!!
Pros:

To be honest, for the vast majority of my stay (over a year due to renovations on my home), my stay was fine. The staff (especially JP) was excellent. I cannot say the same for the GM!!! I never reported the "small stuff" because frankly, it was just temporary lodging, so I just lived with it. I don't complain. Now to my issue and a warning to future guests. I was due a refund and it was issued on a CC I no longer have (cancelled). Both the GM and Corporate Office simply washed their hands of the situation, saying once a credit is issued, it's done. There is nothing more they can do. I have to speak with the bank. That's the short version. Absolutely ZERO customer service for someone who stayed at their property for over a year! I can only imagine how they treat a guest who was only there for a week or month, etc.?! So, if you're seeing yourself in a possible similar situation, BEWARE!!! I'll never spend another dime with Extended Stay America!!! I only hope this message helps someone else down the line or persuades them to stay with another hotel/brand. Safe travels!
