It was ok
Pros:

Perfect location, it is beginning of old city, easy with parking, it is valet but it’s just near hotel and u can have easy access, looks nice outside and from first opinion inside but when u come a bit seems cold during the day in lobby, but in the evening they turn big fireplace which give some warm, and from the lobby u can go to really nice restaurant lounge with good food and amazing atmosphere with lounge dj

Cons:

First- fee for dog, when room was like 250, we paid for dog-75 one night
Second- but it’s my taste and opinion - room was not cosy like I expected, bed so so tall and that’s why strange feeling like room small

The tub was nice to have but we likely won’t be back
Pros:

Soaking tub. Lots of closets. Old building, thick walls - it was very quiet. Good mattresses and bed linen.
Pillows were not so great. Intense Smell in the lobby. Limited supplies in the room - no kettle, no spoons, no plates, no cutlery whatsoever. Asked reception they only brought kettle and we never heard back from them again. Limited supplies in the bathroom - one makeup removal napkin, one shower cap and one sample size body lotion for two people. Bathrobes were provided but no slippers. Weird room layout - the tv was on the side from beds, no armchair. Beds facing the entryway. Scratched floors. White Painted walls (for this price point I expect wallpaper), complete lack of any decor or interior design. Expensive breakfast (35 cad continental). Overall the hotel felt rather cheaply maintained - old and worn with some cosmetic renovation.

Enjoyed our stay at the St. Paul Hotel and the surrounding area with shops and restaurants nearby
Pros:

Location and upgrade to a suite was very nice

Cons:

Elevators would not allow me to visit a traveling companion on another floor. Key will only take me to my floor.

A roof over your heas
Pros:

Loved the location. Although check in and out was not the smoothest, the stuff re always kind

Cons:

cleanliness of the room was par, not enough towels, not well maintained rooms, escalator lights.. too dark getting to the rooms ( I understand it’s their design but didn’t feel right, safe or clean)

Met my needs for location
Pros:

Location, front desk staff were AMAZING, probably the best check in experience that I have had. Full of information, ask questions to ensure that everything was covered, restaurant recommendations etc

Cons:

Room was very dated

Cons:

We did not care for the style of decor and thought the common areas (hallways, elevators) were TOO dark. Your designer needs to brighten up the hotel.

It was a warm cosy place to nest away from thegamily Christmas party!
Pros:

Grand Dame of the old Montreal, the building is magnificent and was very well designed from the beginning. Great location, views, service, and the restaurant downstairs was excellent with great ambiance. Rooms are large and timber floors are a nice homey touch

Cons:

A bit tired in the bathroom finishings but everything works well.
