Many restaurants around the area walking distance. 10 minutes to the beach by car.
Only downside, if you reserve parking for a cruise know that it’s outdoor roof top. No coverage from the weather.

Pros:

Check in was smooth, the hotel pool was nice-great for the kids. They have a hot tub my boyfriend liked. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Not dirty clean. Overall staying here was great.

My stay at the Renaissance Hotel was okay. The staff was very nice and welcoming, which made the experience more pleasant. However, the rooms could definitely use some upgrades, as they felt a bit dated.

A guest across the hall from my room was banging on the door from 3:30 am until 5:00 am. We called the front desk and they were no help. They refused to stop the woman or have her removed. There was also a safety issue due to the fact that you could not access the floor without a key, yet this woman was able to access without a key. I had to change hotels and the property manager refused to refund my money.

Rooms and facilities were nice. Food was not as advertised. No espresso drinks because machine was, “out of order for the foreseeable future.” Had to tell them about my breakfast being included 2 days in a row. Menu makes food sound really good and worth the high prices and does not deliver. “Belgium waffles with whipped honey butter” tasted like stale dense pancake mix poured on a waffle maker and came with cold rock hard foil-wrapped butter packs. If I had to pay $25 bucks for that I would have been more bummed. Seems like they are having some issues. Still the room was nice and it was a convenient location for my work needs.
