Die schlechteste Erfahrung seit mehreren Jahren
Pros:

die Mitarbeiter beim Frühstück waren sehr nett. Auch die Dame beim Check-In war ebenfalls sehr nett und aufgeschlossen im Hinblick auf meine Reklamation. Sie hatte mir zugesagt, das Problem bei dem Manager zu adressieren. Diesen habe ich dann am nächsten Morgen beim Check-Out eher zufällig und auf Nachfrage kennengelernt. Es fällt mir schwer zu glauben, dass es sich bei diesem jungen Herren tatsächlich um den Manager gehandelt hat. Seine Leistung und sein Angebot im Hinblick auf das von mir adressierte Problem war seiner Position nicht würdig. Keinerlei Interesse und auch nicht gut ausgebildet aus meiner Sicht

Cons:

Die Wahrscheinlichkeit das Hotel weiterzuempfehlen oder meinerseits erneut zu besuchen ist nicht nur sehr unwahrscheinlich, sondern unmöglich. Am Besten war der Herr an der Rezeption, welcher sich als der Hotelmanager ausgegeben hat, nachdem ich danach gefragt habe. Dieser Herr war vollkommen selbstherrlich und aus meiner Sicht auch ungeeignet für diese Position. Ich habe ein Anliegen an ihn herangetragen und er hat keinerlei Interesse signalisiert, eine Lösung anzubieten. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer für meine Frau und mich bereits im August 2025 für das Wochenende gebucht, an welchem in Düsseldorf die große Bootmesse stattgefunden hat (23.01.2026). Leider ist meine Frau erkrankt und ich habe eine Anfrage zu einer kostenlosen Stornierung gestellt . Dieser hätte man sehr einfach und kundenorientiert beantworten können, gerade an einem Wochenende mit sehr hoher Nachfrage wie dem Buchungszeitraum. Das man nicht einmal das Frühstück meiner Frau erstatten wollte, die aus den geschilderten Gründen nicht angereist war, veranlasst mich kein Marriott Hotel mehr zu besuchen. Sehr oft war ich in der Vergangenheit bei dieser Kette zu Gast. Der Manger, welcher hätte einfach dazu beitragen können den Kunde zufriedenzustellen, hat durch seine arrogante und interessenlose Art dazu beigetragen, dass diese Kette nun definitiv auch in der Zukunft einen Kunde weniger hat.

Das Badezimmer leider waren in beiden gebuchten Zimmer im Badewannenbereich/Fugen der Fliesen mit schwarzschimmel belegt. daran sollten sie unbedingt was ändern

We received a room in the corner (406), which was very cold. Upon complaints the staff provided us with an extra heater which partially solved the problem.

Cons:

Kamers zijn veel te warm. Airconditioning blaast geen koude lucht. Half november is het 25 graden binnen. Dit valt niet aan te passen. Het personeel weet hiervoor geen oplossing te bieden.
