Parking was easy, staff was nice, room was clean.
AC made noise all night, very loud street noise from 8th floor (expected with location), water temperature adjustments on sink and shower were difficult. Felt a little overpriced.
How close we were to our venue, the room was very nice.
Despite an extremely inconvenient four-day flight delay, my experience at Hotel Indigo was genuinely outstanding thanks to the professionalism and care shown by the staff.
I want to make special mention of Anthony Harvey, the manager, and Tyler at the front desk. From the moment the situation became clear, they were attentive, solution-oriented, and genuinely empathetic. My Platinum status was acknowledged without hesitation, and they went above and beyond to ensure that both I and my guests were comfortable during an already stressful travel disruption.
They graciously allowed us to remain in the upgraded rooms we had been assigned, accommodated the extended stay seamlessly, and handled everything with calm efficiency and courtesy. At no point did I feel like an inconvenience — quite the opposite. Their approach reflected true hospitality.
While flight delays are outside anyone’s control, how a hotel responds makes all the difference. Anthony and Tyler turned what could have been a very frustrating experience into a reassuring and comfortable one. Because of their service, Hotel Indigo will absolutely remain a preferred choice for me going forward.
Highly recommended, and sincere thanks to the team for their professionalism and kindness.
The room was quiet, and felt safe. We loved our breakfast!
The beds and pillows wasn't super comfy.

Decor and staff.
Bathroom light didn’t work; heat wouldn’t go past 66. Called the desk, but nothing changed. Restaurant is closed in the afternoon. We went in at 1 pm on game day, and they refused to serve drinks. While sitting there, 16 people came in and tried to get drinks, so they lost that business. Also, I was traveling with an obviously handicapped person (cerebral palsy with a walker), and they put us on the 14th floor and the absolute farthest room down the floor. Had there been a fire, he wouldn’t have been able to go down the stairs.
Super close to many things to do in downtown Detroit
It was close to Ford Field and very clean.
We booked a king size bed and they gave us Queens. Also the walls were very thin and our toilet ran all night.
We ended up with a suite for disabled persons because the internet was out. It was wonderful! I had my son with me, and this way we had separate beds instead of sharing.
I had originally booked a roll in shower, because I am in a wheelchair. This room had a shower chair, which was fine! However, the hand shower attachment either didn't work or I couldn't figure it out. I ended up standing to rinse, which I am able to do. I forgot to notify the hotel while I was there (my mistake) but I think I told them in their site review.
