Truntum Kuta

Mum of 4 here and we just recently stayed at Truntum for the first time! Amazing service, all so friendly and accomodating! The location was actually perfect for us!
Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for 10 days in the Beachside Suite, which is located right at the very front of the hotel above the lobby. Despite being in such a central position, the room was surprisingly quiet and peaceful throughout our stay.

The location is absolutely perfect, literally right on the beach. Everything you need is within easy walking distance, including a convenience store, laundromat, money changer, and ATM directly across the road, making it incredibly convenient.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always welcoming and happy to assist with anything we needed like providing power adapters from reception or booking a driver and activities. The buffet breakfast had a great variety each morning, highly recommend trying the local dishes.

What really made the stay special were the thoughtful little touches. Edy created intricate towel art in our room each day, which was such a lovely surprise to come back to. Mustana also went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and memorable.

Location is great. Ari Kusumq our room boy was excellent. Facilities clean and the hotel team were excellent and friendly.

Our visit was good, we stay here every year, was good to stay again. would definitely recommend for others. the buffet breakfast was well enjoyed by my son and myself, he particularly enjoyed the poached eggs.

Stayed at Truntum Kuta. Staff were exceptional. Rooms are clean and tidy. Facilities are excellent. The spa was perfect for a massage and pedicure. Close to restaurants and a nice walk along the beach to Discovery Mall

Staff are very caring. Husband was little unwell staff were very polite and caring asking daily how he was. Highly recommend and would stay again. This was our second stay

We were unexpectedly transferred to Truntum Kuta, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel is right by the beach, making it super convenient for swimming or catching the sunset. Rooms were cleaned daily and always stocked with fresh towels and complimentary water. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and when we ordered it as a takeaway box for early mornings, it was well-prepared. The dining options were tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were attentive, polite, and helped us sort out the transfer from our original booking. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Truntun in house restaurant service was very poor for Al cate'. I ordered food with my 3 friends. For my order they didn't have certain ingredient, they came to inform me so I ordered something else. Strangely my friends food came one by one but mine didn't come. My friends nearly finished their food and I was still waiting for an hour!
I watched 2 customers who came after me got their food too!!. When I asked about my order they said it was ordered late so I'm in queue!! I don't understand how was it my falt when I ordered straight away!
On top the restaurant was empty. We were the first customers . I was so angry that I got up and left! They neither gave any apology!!
Such bad service I have never seen in my entire life!

The location is excellent unobstructed beach view away from traffic but near transport. The managent and staff are very helpful and professional and remember your name and events you are taking. Wake up call for once a week fantastic yoga taught by a monk. Misplaced hat and they take the trouble to look in CCTV and found it ! (My friend then lost it in Hong Kong)

Cok Oka GM (there for 32 years!) and his team including maintenance who replaced TV that wasn't working are first class as is housekeeping. All greeting with lovely smiles and interest in your day. Atmosphere in such a large hotel is very personal and calming. Pools are great. Rooms are large and spacious.

Aircon and hot water works well. They are constantly maintaining and upgrading including painting. Overall value including the activities and breakfast are great value for Kuta Beach area as unobstructed beach view but most others on the beach road face a wall. Even though it is near restaurants including a large upmarket mall, it is very peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend this hotel and come back again where staff are likely to remember our names even after 1 year !

This place is awesome! Good quality and excellent service. Staffs.are.kind and frienldy and no hesitate to help us. Shops, Restaurants and other convenient places are around us. Starbucks is in 7 minutes walk distance shopping malls are 22 and 17 minutes away.

All of staffs are very helpful and the food was amazing. Recommended for those who want to stay in kuta area❤️

We stayed here in March of 2026 and it was amazing. The breakfast buffet is a mix of traditional Indonesian food and western foods and is delicious. The staff are very accommodating and polite and make the stay very enjoyable, even making animals from the towels each day for our son’s toys.
The location is in the middle of Kuta Park light in the beach.
We will be coming back again. What a wonderful experience

The bell boy ARYAWAN is a absolutely beautiful person and very friendly and funny. It's worth a visit just to meet him 🙂

We had a great stay,room was deluxe beside the pool edge, food was good close to the beach and the staff were very helpful specially, Julia, and in town from the dining room we had a minor issue with one of our meals and they went out of their way to make it right so really appreciated the extra effort they put in overall it was a wonderful stay

One of the best hotels in Kuta. If you want to relax on the beach, this should be your first choice. I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. I enjoyed every moment of this hotel. Everything is near this hotel. Shops, markets, restaurants. So you can enjoy your time properly. Their breakfast is really great, with huge items. The staff, the manager, everyone is very helpful with a smile.

If I travel to Kuta again, this hotel will be my first choice.

We stayed 4 nights .. the first we were ignored at the pool bar and so they upgraded us to another room which was leaking water everywhere inside.. we wanted a refund and they refused and sent us to another room which was entirely worse it had massive floods Ng's inside the entire hallway was flooded. The shower flooded and wouldn't drain.. on-top of this we went from a room that was near the lobby to a 5min walk to get to our room and back each time.. I would not recommend tuntrum to anyone it's not ready for guests at all. They do not refund and just put you in worse rooms than you had even if they call it a (upgrade).

We had a fantastic time at Truntum. The room was great, Breakfast was amazing and the dinners were. Just a shout out to Dina, Yoga and Intan, you guys were absolutely incredible, you are an asset to your workplace and one of the main reasons that myself and my partner will be coming back to stay at your hotel. Fantastic location on the beach.....no roads in front only path. Beautiful staff, fantastic facilities and comfortable rooms. 3 great pools, swimup bar and wonderful breakfast buffet/restaurant.

Me and my girlfriend travelled to tuntrum for our 6 month anniversary, The staff made us feel very welcome and i contacted them before hand prior to our arrival to organise a special decoration on our bed for when we got there , Edi took care of this for us and i’ve never seen my girlfriend so happy , he absolutely blown my expectations and we were both over the moon by his skills of decorating the room with roses and towels ect , Thanks so much edi we will definitely we coming back to tuntrum again
