Pros:

It was clean for the age of the building, we were actually very impressed with the cleanliness.

Simple, clean stay
Pros:

Everything was very clean. The room did not have carpeting which was nice. The complimentary breakfast was simple but good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was on the small side.

Cons:

The room was a bit small. The hotel felt a bit dated as well. They do seem to participate in the hotel price gouging that goes on during football games.

Für An- und Abreise für eine Nacht zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut in der nähe des Flughafens. Für eine Nacht ist es ganz ok. Wenn es das erste Frühstück in den USA nach der Anreise ist, passt es schon, als letztes vor der Abreise eher nicht.

Cons:

Auch wenn das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis relative ok ist, kann man schon was in die Zimmer investieren. Das von uns genutzte Zimmer war abgezockt.

I would stay there again if I didn't have grandchildren with me. She wanted a pool.

I arrived at the hotel at around 9 PM and immediately noticed that the entire property was dark and had no electricity. I spoke with other guests, who told me that the power had already been out for several hours and that it was basically impossible to stay there.

I went to the front desk and explained that I wanted to cancel my reservation because of the power outage. The staff told me that it was okay and made a note of it manually, since they could not access their computer system without electricity.

I took my belongings and had to move to another hotel nearby, where I ended up paying almost double the price.

The next day, when I was leaving the area, the Microtel still had no electricity.

It has now been several days, and I have received no cancellation confirmation, no refund, and no communication whatsoever from the hotel. I understand that a power outage may be beyond the hotel's control, but the complete lack of follow-up and the fact that I am still being charged for a room that I could not reasonably use is unacceptable.

Very disappointing experience and extremely poor handling of the situation.

Emotional but comfortable stay leaving my daughter at college.
Pros:

I like the price and the ability to be close to UMich campus

Cons:

I didn't like that if I had not had my car with me, it would have been difficult to get anywhere.
