This place and employees rock. We stay here at least once a month if not more. It is right in the middle of all my appointments.
The slow elevator
Heated pool. Room had both a fireplace and a hot tub in the room!
No safe in room
It's a nice place and love the pool and hot tub.
My time at the American Inn in Windsor was perfectly acceptable. Everything went smoothly From the moment of check in ( which I did by walk in not RSVP. to the convenient online check out. The gentleman who handled my check in was well versed and extremely helpful offering a way to keep some of my deposit which is always a welcome thing . The breakfast took place in a dedicated kitchen area . not part of the lobby closed for breakfast everything was. clean and well organized with a staff member checking that all was well stocked and areas of food prep were wiped and clean for the next guest. It was a quiet and perfectly acceptable experience over all and I would without hesitation recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a hassle free stay in the area . ....... there is one wild card here I have written this review in advance of getting my deposit ok'd to be sent to my card. If you don't hear from me it is safe to say everything went as well as the rest of my stay . perfectly acceptable and without a problem
Great location and a homey feeling. This inn is older, but it’s comfortable and a good value. The pool and hot tub are great, and the breakfast was good too. The green chili was especially flavorful with a nice spicy kick!

Awful experience from the greeting we received from the front desk guy. The smell of smoke in this old run down place. The mini fridge making the most awful noise. The blood in the bed. The being told we can check out with a full refund once we found the blood. The not receiving a refund. The rude front desk guy refusing to let me speak to a manager no matter how many times I call. Only stayed for 4 hours but got charged for 3 days!
Elevator didn't work
I loved the whole stay it was very clean comfy and breakfast was amazing loved it 😁 we had pool to ourself was nice
