It was unfortunate that the hotel was undergoing renovations and replacing plumbing was part of it. And water coming out of the bath tub was brown and contend grains of sand and metal, so taking a bath was out of the question.

Disgusting that a room is booked for 2 adults and the beds are placed together like that.

I will never ever use this place ever again in my life!!!!!

The waves on the Indian Ocean are free when you stay here. Super nice facility. One wing was being renovated; all rooms face the ocean. We appreciated being able to do our own laundry (no charge). Would definitely stay here again.

I find it frustrating that when I book through hotels.com I get the worst room in the hotel. Hotel is beautiful, but I had a view of the casino carpark at the back end of the hotel with the casino generator/aircon making a huge noise 24h.

Actual food service a little slow but staff and food excellent. Not being able to extend ‘book out’ or offer a transit room so we could enjoy the sun a few more hours before our flight out -7 hours time- was very frustrating!

A secure functional chain hotel with plenty of parking. Our room was large although the bathroom felt a bit dated. The staff on reception didn't go out of their way to explain what facilities the hotel had or what was in the surrounding area. We found the swimming pool by accident. They didn't have a map available either.

On our first night we ate in the hotel restaurant. Although for most of the time there was only us and one other table the service was slow. When our meals eventually arrived they were no more than luke warm. It took over 20 minutes for a bottle of sparkling mineral water to arrive. When it did it clearly had been shaken up on it's way as it sprayed out all over the table. After we had signed the bill so that it could be put on our room the waitress came to our room and said that we had to pay for it separately. We ate out on our second night!

Although there were a lot of notices about saving water due to a drought when our room was serviced the towels were changed, even though we were only staying two nights, and the face cloth disappeared.

Unfortunately our very special occasion only ended up with disappointment and food poisoning from undercooked frozen (as we were informed later by staff) fish which was sent back along with my undercooked steak. We reported the fish to the manager who did not offer any compensation and informed us he would investigate and get back to us - we're still waiting well after 2 weeks. Our last night - disappointment again - and we unfortunately decided to eat at the restaurant again - to play it safe ... salad and pizza. Very underwhelming - the pizza base tasted as if it were a standard supermarket base and not a fresh base.
The wine list became limited as several of the wines we chose on different occasions were out of stock.
The room was clean, but we needed to air the room each day due to the cleaning agents being used. The pillows were new, but either too large or too soft - frustrating - but they did provide us with extra soft ones to sort it.
Parking, security was all good. In general, the staff were friendly and helpful.
The beach views from the balcony are excellent, though, not their fault, the traffic noise is continuous.
The gym, while small, was adequate for a small workout and it was nice to be able to use the bikes while looking out to the ocean.

The Courtyard hotel was warm and welcoming. Rooms comfortable. Lovely pool and lounge area. In walking distance to the beachfront and eateries. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were enormous and well kept. Staff was very friendly. On-site restaurant was delicious and affordable.

It was absolutely amazing. We have no complaints at all. the place was nice and clean. The home service was also impressive. Excellent view, especially to watch the dolphins passing by in the morning.

I enjoyed the room facilities and the breakfast and dining services.

We booked two rooms, but Our both rooms were in the basement with walking out door. The smell was terrible, we asked to switch to the room above ground, the staff was very rude and refused. If we knew the rooms were in the basement, we definitely would not book it. Bad experience!!!

I never thought that you have not included breakfast and that have disappointed me.

I gifted a couple an overnight stay at this property as part of their wedding gift. I paid a suite with a queen bed. When they arrived at the property the staff was rude and unwilling to help. They gave the newlyweds a 2 twin beds small room. I paid for a better room. Really disappointed 😱. I need a refund.

Great pool. Very clean. Excellent staff. Beautiful view of the ocean and boardwalk. Nice balcony. We were warned not to walk even a few blocks to restaurants after dark.
