Beautiful building, parking, great staff, delicious restaurant on site, enormous comfy bed and larger than average room.
Nothing
Great location, Staff were absolutely fantastic and room was very comfortable. We were really just passing through - visiting friends in Dublin, didn't check in until after 9pm and left the following morning but the hotel was very central and had a great aesthetic which I really loved. Our room was spotless and the bed was perfect. We had asked for a separate bed for our 8 year old which was provided but he ended up in our bed during the night and there was loads of room for all three of us!
The cost of breakfast was just insane for what we got. 25 euro per person for an extremely limited menu and a full irish that was undercooked, served on a cold plate and quite tasteless. The buffet was quite limited. I don't normally eat breakfast in any hotel I stay in and this is why. I'm not blaming the hotel for the price as I find it's pretty standard now but I was very disappointed with what we received. Also, the heat was on full blast in our room when we arrived and it was extremely warm. We found it difficult to cool it down and had a somewhat restless night's sleep with the heat. That is probably on us as we arrived so late.
Friendly helpful staff, comfortable clean rooms, and excellent food, and lovely atmosphere, all round a great experience
