I would not go back, the bad outweighs the good.
Pros:

The reception staff were amazing and friendly ALL the time, appreciated that. There was 1 gentleman at breakfast, i think a manager, he was fantastic and would chat to us every morning and made sure we were looked after, he recommended lekker dinner places too.

Cons:

Waitresses did not clean tables at dinner, had to sit next to 3 dirty tables for over an hour waiting for my food that was completely over cooked, ordered a steak, egg and chips, soft egg and med/rare steak - everything came well done and the waitress had an issue when i said it was wrong. There was a waitress at breakfast that asked a table of 4 men for money for her baby. The spa was a complete disappointment, sauna didn't work properly and the staff tried to lie to me about it. There was only 1 ice bath working but they accepted a booking for a package for 2 people. The spa then tried to blame a new staff member in front of me to cover for these things, and only after we had finished with our package did they let us know the voucher is not applicable for packages. Waste of time and money and bad management. They did try to make up for it by extending our massage by 30 minutes.

Pros:

Comfortable room . Nice view of pool and Umgeni river.
Easy check in .

It was a good stay but could’ve been better if the attitude of the staff was better.
Pros:

The only thing I liked about the place was Mannies amazing Hospitality and love for his job.

Cons:

The other staff were lazy and the rooms are quite small. They only give one set of cutlery even though you are two in a room and one toilet paper. I waited about an hour for room service.

Lovely refreshed hotel with great staff
Pros:

Location. Staff are fantastic. Rooms refreshed and updated. Restaurant manager runs a tight ship during busy morning breakfasts. It’s a good vibe

Room was great, family room with a microwave was excellent.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet a bit limited, especially if one required halaal or vegetarian meals. buffet selection was haphazard, meaning pork and meat in the same catering dish or right next to as veggies etc, resulting in cross-comtamination between meats and vegetables/eggs, making it uncomfortable for halaal/vegetarian. perhaps a seperate Egg station that caters to only vegitarian/halaal. other then that, breakfast was ok

We enjoy our stay. I even forgot my pair of shoe and sandals but because of the friendliness of the housekeepers my staf
