Lovely Hotel, but Attention to Detail and Guest Comfort Need Improvement
Pros:

The overall aesthetic of the hotel was appealing, and we enjoyed the size of the room. It was spacious, attractively decorated, and had a modern, comfortable look and feel

Cons:

Unfortunately, several practical issues detracted from what could have been a much better experience.

Firstly, only one toilet roll was provided in the room, with no spare roll available on the holder. This is a basic amenity that guests should not have to request.

The bathroom design and layout are also not very practical. The bathroom door opens directly into the toilet bowl, making the space awkward to use. This could easily have been avoided by positioning the toilet behind the door and installing a door stopper. In addition, the washbasin is extremely small despite there being ample space for a larger, more functional basin. No facial tissues were supplied either.

Another concern was the open shower design. Water flowed freely out of the shower area and into the passage, leaving the floor wet and slippery. We had to request additional towels to soak up the water after each shower. While the extra towels were provided promptly, the handling of the situation afterwards was disappointing.

On multiple mornings, housekeeping came to our room asking for the extra towels to be returned. Most concerning was that on the morning of our departure, housekeeping knocked on our door early to request the towels back, despite us checking out that day. We found this highly unusual and rather uncomfortable. We have travelled extensively and have never experienced hotel staff repeatedly requesting towels in this manner. It left us feeling as though it was assumed we intended taking the towels, which was quite unpleasant.

Cleanliness also raised some concerns. Upon arrival, one of the hand towels had hair on it, which immediately raised questions about quality control and housekeeping standards.

Finally, the room amenities were not adequately stocked for two guests. Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its attractive rooms and pleasant atmosphere, but attention to detail, housekeeping practices, bathroom functionality, and guest amenities need significant improvement.
