Great location for flying out of Shannon... or an extended stay to explore the city.
Pros:

Quaint little hotel just outside center Ennis. Very close to Shannon airport (~25mins), with a town worth a multi-night stay. Ennis is a perfect blend of old & new city. The staff was exceptional, from the breakfast & dinner waitstaff to the front desk attendants, who were more than willing to provide us with a little of the history hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel with a pub in Ennis!
Pros:

Very central. A huge property with a pub and parking. Super quiet. Our room was very large and warm. Super comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom was huge, great shower. All amenitites were present. The pub had live Irish music on Sunday. Breakfast was fantastic! Personal service, gluten-free options, super filling. Would stay again. Probably will...

Cons:

Nothing. Maybe a mini fridge would be nice. But you don't really need it. In summer, it would be useful.

Beds were very good.
Breakfast- great display but the taste was a let down.
The hot water in the room wasn’t working
Overall it is a good hotel for a one night stay(stag/hen) but the rooms could do with a bit of maintenance

Disappointed.

Location is very good. Right in heart of town.

Cons:

I don't understand how this hotel gets 4 stars. They say the difference between 3 and 4 star in a hotel rating is that 3 is functional, 4 is were you feel pampered. This is a functional hotel. Room was clean, well decorated but difficult to control heat of overnight. Open the window for air and you get noise from cars/buses coming/going in the carpark. Did I mention you look on to a carpark. Service from staff in bar was very poor. Young crew that seemed very disorganised. Overall a disappointing stay at what is quite an expensive hotel. Would not return, or recommend to others.
