Important information:

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Please inform Chambers powered by Sonder in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
A damage deposit of USD 400 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
After confirmation, Sonder will reach out to guests through a secure link to gather some information regarding their stay. Sonder may require the guest to provide a photo of their government issued photo ID. Guests will receive check in details from property management three days prior to arrival. Please note the layout, furniture, and decor of your space may vary from these photos. You may hear construction noise from renovations nearby. From November through May this building offers heating only, and during this time air conditioning will be unavailable. Sonder offers all guests the ability to book housekeeping services on demand for a nominal fee. This ensures you can enjoy an uninterrupted and environmentally sustainable stay. Housekeeping services must be scheduled via the Sonder app, 24 hours in advance.

Pros:

They are bankrupt!!!! However their phone lines to “new reservations” are still active and making bookings! Stays away!! They are completely closed!!

Hôtel très impersonnel lié au fait que le nombre d'employés est extrêmement réduit. Pas de service de restauration. pas d'eau chaude certains soirs tardivement. Ascenceur en panne pendant plus d'une journée......

הגענו למלון בשש בבוקר טרוטי עיניים אחרי לילה ללא שינה מטיסה ארוכה שנחתה בחמש בבוקר. הדלת הייתה נעולה ולא הצלחנו להיכנס עם הקוד. בסוף איש ניקיון הכניס אותנו, ואז ראינו שיש פקיד קבלה, שלבטח היה מודע לניסיון שלנו להיכנס, אך התעלם. שאלנו אם יש חדר שאפשר להיכנס אליו (תמורת תשלום כמובן), כי הצ'ק אין רק בשעה 16:00. אמרו שהמלון מלא. אחרי בדיקה נוספת אמרו שנוכל להיכנס בשעה 13:00. אחרי בדיקה נוספת אמרו שנוכל להיכנס בשעה 12:00. בשלב זה היינו ממש גמורים. תפסנו שתי ספות בפינה ונרדמנו עליהן. אחרי 29 דקות שינה (מדוד על הגרמין שלי) העיר אותי פקיד הקבלה בצעקות, שאסור לי לישון. השעה הייתה מוקדמת, לא הפרענו לאיש וזה היה רוע לשמו.

Gute Lage, zentral, sicher und sauber.
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, 50m Luftlinie zum Trump Tower, 5 min zur U–Bahn, 5 min zur Central Park, 15 min laufen zum Times Square, haben uns sicher und wohl gefühlt, der Balkon war ein Knaller, würde ich empfehlen und wieder buchen, wenn ich wieder in NY bin.

Beautiful location and great guest room
Pros:

What a phenomenal location and quality room product. I loved this property and will return. Front desk was very warm and welcoming and got me into a room as quickly as possible. Loved the shower in the guest room - very strong and good bath products. Comfortable bed. Genuinely enjoyed the stay.

Won’t use again , so painful
Pros:

Didn’t visit in the end but booked for 2026 on a flexible booking. Like others it has taken me some time , nearly a month , after cancelling to actually get my funds paid back to me . Was told funds had been sent in August and to check with my Bank , eventually they found an error in the system and started the whole refund process again . This took me multiple chasers etc and the booking agent wasn’t much better , pushing responsibility to Sonder and indeed asking me to provide proof I had even paid upfront . Won’t use again and I’ve also cancelled all future flexible bookings with agent
