our stay ended up good and we enjoyed ourselves.
Pros:

breakfast was good but space was a little tight. Our room had recently been flooded, evidently, and there was a room dehumidifier unit running, sitting in the middle of the wet spot, which was fairly large. The carpet in that immediate area was soaking wet and there was a musty smell in the room. We went down to the desk and the gal issued us new room keys for just down the hallway, and everything was fine. She did not hesitate or give us the "what for", so I really appreciated her attitude and help.

Cons:

the room we were initially were given had been flooded with a soaking carpet. That room should never have been available to let out until that issue was entirely resolved and the carpet dried and mold treated.

Embarrassing, I left as soon as I arrived and inspected the room

Pros:

This was my second time in SPI and the second time saying here and the first stay was just as good as the first the over all experience from room to cleanliness was great

Cons:

I know the main attraction in SPI is the beach but the pool was heated and the water was a little foggy in the pool would have preferred a cool pool instead but that's just preference

Horrible experience!!! Health hazard!!

Nothing!!

Cons:

Mold, mildew, filthy!!! No cleaning services most of the time. Couldn't get sheets changed, towels replaced. Entire party of 12 experienced cough and itching upon entering the rooms...which we had to switch out a total of 7 times with our 3 rooms to get one bearable enough to stay. Got got double charged!! Wanted to change hotels but found no availability to accommodate our group! Definitely would not recommend and the price was ridiculous based on the hotel's condition.

It served its purpose but wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

The location was great and we were within walking distance of a lot of places (restaurants, shopping, the beach etc.)

Cons:

The hotel was not really clean and the environment in the public areas lacked decency.

There was mold in the rooms, the water pressure was terrible in the shower and it was very “musty” in the main rooms. In the pool area, there were people who were BLASTING music - I wasn’t even able to hear my children who were a few feet away and the hotel staff didn’t seem to care about asking them to turn it down or to be more mindful.

It’s the perfect place to go in a big group or even by yourself.
Pros:

How close it is to the beach.

Cons:

Did have a couple of mini roaches come out around the mini fridge area.
