Everyone was very kind and friendly. Very excellent staff and wonderful teamwork. Kindness 😊
The Concierge was helpful and informative.
Pool side rooms, great staff and tropical atmosphere
This was our second time at the Key West Courtyard. The staff is incredible, and the rooms have been updated. The location is convenient, and they have bikes you can rent for a quick trip down to Duval. You are just far enough away from the Duval craziness, but also close enough to enjoy it a night or two.
This last trip it was for my birthday weekend and the staff surprised us with balloons, champagne & treats. They really do go above and beyond here. There’s always someone at the front desk, ready to help. The tiki bar is also nice, laid back and fun.
Special shout out to these staff members who made our trip outstanding: Mary-Ann, Kassandra, Palama, Fabiola & Christine.
Second year coming here. Great place and atmosphere! Staff is wonderful especially Maryann, Lotoya, Mitch, and bartenders Ken and Jeff. The General manager Michael Napieralski is also great and very helpful!
Excellent location, close to all tourist spots as well as dining spots.. Good facilities. Very prompt, courteous and helpful check in and check out service by Mary Ann Letoya.
We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Key West Waterfront at 3031 Roosevelt Blvd., Key West, FL 33040 from February 28 to March 3, 2026.
We have come to depend on the Marriott name to be consistent with quality and
comfort when we travel. Because of this, we prepaid at top dollar prices ($657.50 per night, per room) for a grand total of $2,165.28 per room with fees.
Unfortunately, the family members with whom we were traveling had a medical
emergency and were unable to continue their trip and join us in Key West.
I will say that when we arrived, there was a nice woman who worked at your desk to check us in. Since we had two nonrefundable rooms booked, we chose the one that was booked as a wheelchair accessible room.
There would have been NO way our family member could have fit his wheelchair in the bathroom. It was small and cramped with a shower that he would not have been able to enter. Not only would he not be able to enter but there were no handles to help him if he did. This was not only unacceptable accommodations but we understand it is also illegal. There was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom and there was a constant sewage smell.
The bedroom was small and dark and:
had a broken drawer that the service people came and fixed.
a thermostat stuck at 88 degrees. A service person also fixed.
a broken shoe-box of a refrigerator. A service person replaced. The replacement froze the minimal contents that we could put in.
a light under a shelf that never was replaced. A lamp was brought in to substitute.
The wood decks and walkways were in pretty bad shape, needing replacement or at least repair and coating.
There were some nice people working here but they were not given the tools to do their jobs well. At the Bistro, there was not enough money in the register for transactions. The woman at the register had to get money from her tip jar to make change!!!
Our experience in Key West at Courtyard by Marriott was, hands down, the worst
hotel experience we have ever encountered.
The beach is actually more like a swamp and you cannot enter the water because there are alligators and rocks.
The service at the pool was very poor; the staff member was rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional.
Breakfast is extremely limited — you can only choose one item to eat and one drink.
Our room was located in a separate building with no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. It was also very noisy due to street traffic and noise from other rooms.
The power outlets in the room did not work.
They also charged our credit card for incidentals without informing us in advance.
This is definitely not the standard expected from a Marriott property.
E’ proprio sul mare e ha la sua spiaggetta privata molto caratteristica
Eravamo sei persone nella stessa camera e abbiamo dovuto farci divano letto da soli, gli asciugamani c’erano solo per 4 e il divano letto era davvero scomodo
Christine and Alexa were very helpful at the front desk. They have a great sense of humor as well
We stayed 3 nights in Key West at the Courtyard. Christina and Alberto at the front desk were so helpful, courteous, professional and made our stay comfortable. Tom the concierge was also extremely helpful. So professional. Jeff the bartender made the best Piña’s - dark rum floater on top was the best! Thank you all for a great stay!
We felt very well taken care of. We had a celebration and we were welcomed with balloons and sparkling wine in our room. We appreciate the housekeeping staff of MaryAnn, Kassandra, and Nicole.
We had a few maintenance issues. Although not resolved, the staff did some workarounds to mitigate the problems.
Lodging in Key West is expensive and this Courtyard was no exception. We initially took Ubers downtown, but finally broke the code on the KW Rides app. You have to have some patience with the KW Rides system but we were getting fares of around a dollar or two from it compared to $15 for an Uber.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We were on the second floor in the B building and it was very quiet at night. AC worked very well and beds were comfortable. Basic amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body gel, soap, single serve coffee maker with paper cups. We had a “kitchenette” with sink, microwave, and mini fridge but no plates, eating utensils, etc. They did supply a small bottle of dishwashing liquid. The pool was large and great for swimming laps, with lots of seating and tables. BUT they played VERY loud music all day and evening, which could be heard loudly in all areas around the pool and the balconies of the rooms overlooking the pool. The pool was pretty warm in our stay early March. I had lunch at the pool once and it was good and prices were reasonable. No options for dinner at the hotel and dinner options nearby were limited. Got takeout once from the Kennedy Mediterranean and it was good. Large Publix just across the street had deli options and Zenshi sushi. Easy to get rideshare rides to any place on the island for $12-20. Room cleaning was pretty bad-they did little other than replace towels and make beds. Did not clean counters or bath tub and did not replenish coffee packets, so we had to go to the front desk to get more coffee for the coffee maker. Found quite a few bugs in the room, including under the bed pillows. The front desk told my husband they were termites. Hot tub was warm, but not very hot. We did enjoy our stay and would stay here again, but be prepared for the downsides I mentioned. I would recommend to the hotel that they stop playing loud music around the pool and improve the room cleaning. Also add some food to the evening bar menu.

Beautiful amenities. Ken and Jeff were great at the Tiki bar. Rooms were spacious. Mitch, Christine and their manager were super accommodating. Loved the pool and hot tub.
Pros: We got a courtesy room upgrade to a King Suite for my husband's birthday with a decorated room & the biggest patio deck that had an waterfront view that was very nice. The location was very convenient & about 10 minutes away from the action on Duval Street using an Uber. We were conveniently across from a seafood restaurant that was good for our late night checkin coming off the road & being hungry. The pool area with the hottub was relaxing & definitely a highlight to staying. The guest service staff was very helpful & knowledgeable & the cost value to stay was very good I would definitely stay here again & recommend this location to anyone.
Cons: The weather wasn't the warmest, it was very windy & colder than expected so we didn't get to enjoy the patio deck with waterfront view like we wanted.
There were dirty towels in the bathroom upon arrival but the guest staff quickly rectified the issue. The breakfast was not free/continental which was surprising because they do have a nice dining area. The halls to the hotel had dingy smelly carpet which makes the hotel seem cheap/dirty but its not. These cons would not keep me from staying here again they are just things that were noticed.
