The Assistant Manager that was working the front desk was amazing. She offered to cancel our reservation due to the issu
Pros:

The hotel resides at the perfect location for Lawrence. Down town with easy access to right on the river with trees and wildlife all around.

Cons:

They were dealing with a leaking roof which led to garbage cans everywhere collecting water. The AC was out in the lobby and the hallways making it about 100 degrees when you walk it. It also made it difficult for the room AC to get the temp down at all. The first night was super hot and unbearable but the second night was ok due to the lower temps and rainstorm.

River location is beautiful, and the hotel is right downtown, which makes it really nice for the price.
Pros:

Cons:

We enjoyed our time.
Pros:

The location is great. Walking distance to Mass.

Cons:

We were given a handicap room. It didn't have the sitting area that we are accustomed to. Disappointing since we were there with family.
Noise next door was a problem in the wee hours of the morning. I called the front desk and he took care of it.

Pros:

Location was ok and staff was nice.

Cons:

Room was musty and stank. You could see the water damage on the walls. In the pool area there was black mold all over the walls and in behind and could tell that because there was a hole in the wall and could see it all.

Overall it will good. I just wish the pool would have been better!
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable, the staff was very friendly, felt safe for my little family as mother who was there with just her littles.

Cons:

The pool was freezing and smelled terrible and musty. So sad being my child was so excited about staying in a place with a pool.
