Great quintessential French Quarter hotel. Get a room with a balcony, it’s definitely worth the upgrade! Quiet location with easy access to all the Quarter has to offer. Best and easiest hotel parking situation in the French Quarter well worth $45 a night!

Great spot in the quarter. Everything in walking distance without being in the middle of the hectic areas. Room was spacious & clean.

I came to New Orleans for a wedding on December 12, 2025 and checked out December 14th, 2025. The hotel is beautiful, quaint, understated, just the perfect hotel a block or two from Bourbon Street. My check-in was easy, they held my bags so I could go for a walk to check out Envie (a fantastic little breakfast nook around the corner) and The French Market (a beautiful outdoor market two blocks down that had great souvenirs and authentic food)… both places were recommended by the receptionist and I loved them. At night I had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca at the front desk (I needed a few waters and a blanket). She was so sweet and helpful on the phone, we had a nice talk about where I’m from and she seemed engaged and genuinely interested. She brought my items up quickly and she made sure I was comfortable for the night. I could’ve talked to her all night with her kind smile and her beautiful southern accent, she reminded me of my mom. When we parted she said “I’m just right downstairs if you need anything else”. The next night when I came in for the night, she was here to greet me again with that comforting smile and she helped me to secure late check-out for the next day. The hotel is old New Orleans on the outside and modern on the inside with many southern touches. I would love to come here again, especially at Mardi Gras time. Loved our stay at Le Richelieu. Booked a 2 bedroom suite which was spacious and included a little nook with seating, table and coffee machine. The room was clean, beds comfortable, shower great. Secure parking at the back which you pay extra for, but totally worth it as parking on streets is hard. Walking distance to Bourbon Street, Cafe du Monte, the French Markets and Streetcar. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

I Love this Hotel It was comfortable loved my suite Parking was Great on the lot as well a little steep but worth it I feel. Staff was excellent my room had a low water pressure in sink but I got by.

Rebecca at the front desk was amazing. So friendly and professional. Made us feel at home.
The room was quaint. Maid service came every day.

The Richelieu Hotel was recommended by friends who’d visited before. We loved it! It’s slightly off the main drag, which we preferred. But you don’t have to walk far to find Cafe du Monde, Caps Restaurant, Croissant D’or and all the Bourbon Street bars, restaurants and shops.

The staff was so helpful and friendly. They kept me very well informed up until and during our stay. Our room was very comfortable-loved the bed! Absolutely spotless! We especially liked the little outdoor pool area with the lovely plants and comfy seating. Parking is in a gated area, which I thought was pretty secure.

I would definitely recommend this little gem of a hotel to anyone.

We always stay at this hotel when we come to New Orleans. Becky is always excited to see us and treats us well. Parking is easy and safe. The location allows us to walk everywhere

The hotel was in a perfect location. It was quiet, with food and music options available nearby, and at a walking distance to French Quarter. It has a pool in the cute courtyard.
The room was very clean, well maintained and spacious. The staff was welcoming and friendly.
Only one feedback I'll give the property is to install a full sized mirror in the room. We were sharing the room and only one person could use the mirror in the bathroom to get ready so that was a little inconvenient. But other than that, I'd absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a quiet and cute place within walking distance from French Quarter.

Bucket list trip to New Orleans. Hotel was perfectly located. The staff was very nice and responsive. Hotel was clean. Check in and out was very quick. Loved our stay here.

Perfect location away from the noise of Bourbon but still close enough to walk right there. Right by Jackson Square. Beautiful, cozy building and friendly staff. We loved having a little balcony!

Walk to everything from here. Parked the car and didnt need to use it. The rooms are great the pool very relaxing after a hot day in NOLA. Air con was superb and bed very comfortable.highly recommended

We would Def stay here again. Perfect location, just away from the hub bub, but super walkable. Solid property, clean, spaceous, great little pool, wonderful adult relaxed vibe. Helpful and friendly staff ! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great spot in the French Quarter, especially for a family of five. We had a big space to ourselves: 2 queens and a king and we were super comfortable. Conveniently located, easy to walk everywhere. Will definitely return.

The property was well maintained with gated parking for safety. The room was very clean and comfortable. the shower had good pressure and was clean. The staff was fabulous and very knowledgeable. The location was conveniently situated within walking distance of popular places in the quarter. I am well pleased with the chouce to stay here and will do so again
in the future. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Wish I would have known before booking the room that thee was no restaurant or bar on property. The rooms needs full size mirrors.
