The front desk staff was so incredibly warm, helpful, fun, and all around wonderful! They made us feel so special and welcomed each time we interacted.
Our room smelled musty. I’m sure it was due to the humidity in the area. I’m sure it’s a constant struggle. Because everywhere was always being cleaned. I think it’s the fact that there’s carpet in the room and the damp environment.
It was super nice but clean? Kind of questionable, knew it was older but finding lef over fair that wasn’t yours find something worth doing again.
We always have issues with this property. Our last stay it was the a/c. This time our shower was broken. We had a three night stay. Katrina gave us a discount on the third day but not the first two…..that stinks. More water poured out of the faucet than the shower head. While the staff is friendly, we stay here every year to visit our daughter. There is always a concert which bumps the price up for the stay and it is not worth it. I was promised extra points into my account which did not happen upon check out. They “get you” at this property. There are only two hotels on Daniel Island. We’ve stayed at both and neither have been a great experience. Nice people, poor experience and dated property. There are no safes in the room. Our small refrigerator leaked water as well. We could not use it…..I did not report this issue but should have as there was water everywhere in the bottom of the unit.

My wife and I had not been to Charleston since covid. We decided we wanted to go someplace that be convenient to Isle of Palms County Park as well as downtown Charleston. Daniels Island was the perfect location for us. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was hot and tasty. The pool was nice for an evening dip after a long day. Next to the hotel was grocery store, pharmacy, as well as a few bars and some nice restaurants. The hotel had easy access to I-526. The hotel was quiet and it was a mix of guests of tourists and businessmen. It is on our list for a return visit.In the fall.
