Terrific location near DuPont Circle. When we arrived, our room was very warm and the A/C was not working properly. Brookelyn changed our room.

Great Experience Led By Amarri Aton
Pros:

The entire staff has been terrific during our stay. Specifically, Amarri Aton has gone above and beyond to ensure that we have been comfortable during our visit. We can’t thank her and the staff enough for all of the efforts - we highly recommend booking your next stay in DC here!

It was an average hotel stay not like we expected in DC
Pros:

Location is beautiful

Cons:

No microwave or iron box in the room. These things are very important for stay in a hotel. The booking.com did not inform the staff properly about the requirements. The site showed breakfast included, I believe every customer likes breakfast, if it is available on the hotel site as an amenity, you don't have to request it. As the staff informed, there is no breakfast available, so we had to get breakfast from outside 2 days, and got it corrected by one staff and got it rest of the days.

A Week's Visit From The U.K.
Pros:

Booked our visit via a third party portal quite some months ago and got a great price which included daily breakfast.

First and foremost the total bill at the end of our stay (including the dreaded destination fee) was exactly what we had been quoted when we booked - all good there. There were some odd pending debits/credits after we had checked out that appeared and then disappeared but after two days the hold on our card had gone and then final applied charge was spot on with no queries having to be raised.

The room we had was a good size with a comfy bed and although we overlooked the street road noise wasn't an issue on the high floor room we had requested. We also arrived late for check in as our U.K. flight got into Dulles around 9pm - we made the hotel aware and no problems at all. We opted for daily housekeeping (some hotels seem to have tried to get away with this post COVID but not here) as you get the choice.

Breakfast was great - one decent hot plate each and a black coffee were our go to choices with a wide variety to choose from. All freshly cooked/made and had we been paying separate to the room the daily cost would have ended up around $50 so if you can bolt this into your stay for little extra (as we did) then it's certainly worth it.

We had one small issue with our room (a dripping from the aircon unit) which we highlighted to the front desk team as we were leaving for sightseeing the same morning it happened and by the time we came back in the afternoon it was fixed - permanently.

All the staff really do give you the impression they are happy working at the hotel and requests were met with a pleasant smile. Wonda on the front desk seemed to be working most mornings and our English "Good Morning!" was met with a similar Washington reply.

There is valet parking ($60 a night) which we didn't need to use. The hotel is a two minute walk from Dupont Circle metro so really convenient with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby.

The test for us around a hotel is simple - would we return. The answer here is a firm "yes" and we'd certainly recommend to others.

Good stay
Pros:

Was in town for a conference and got a state government rate that was very reasonable compared to other properties. Staff was very nice. Great location near DuPont circle. Room was recently upgraded. Restaurant was good but lacked enough staff. I would stay here again.

Nice Quick Stay.
Pros:

I was only there for one night, so I did not explore much in the hotel. The room was large, spotless, and perfectly comfortable. Staff were nice and helpful. Location was perfect, as it's around the corner from the Metro. I would stay there again.

Cons:

Too many false fire alarms when I was there. And the traffic is so bad that you could be waiting 30+ minutes for a taxi. Plan accordingly.
