The Valet at the hotel hit my rental car while driving another car. They agreed to fix it but gave me no insurance info or numbers to call. Said they 'would be in touch'. The front desk offered to buy me a drink at the restaurant bc of the incident and gave my daughter some candy. But while in the restaurant, we were kicked out bc we weren't eating dinner. Third night, dogs in another room barked ALL NIGHT LONG and nothing was done to fix that situation. After driving 12 hours back home, I had to wait another 1.5 hours to fill out an incident report with the car rental company and they are keeping my deposit and putting a claim on my insurance since NO info from the hotel. The hotel didn't offer to give me a break on the price for the weekend despite it being completely ridiculous.
Great location and nice, quiet room. Friendly staff and nice facilities in the hotel.
The rooftop pool bar didn't feel very welcoming and my kids didn't want to spend time up there. The bartender was chatting with a friend and didn't have a menu or know what beers they had. It could be improved for families.

Loved our visit! Upon arrival we were greeted with a big smile and offered assistance with our baggage, and chatted a bit with Negash the bellman. At the front desk Cookie, the front desk Manager, who is incredibly sweet, with a smile ear to ear, welcomed us back, for our second visit. We are bonvoy gold members, given an upgrade and beverage credit to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday. She and her coworkers Wanda and Jin, were so nice and helpful in every way. We stopped by the bar twice and Jose and Camill made great conversation with us, teaching us about the different cocktails & wines they offered, and just chatting. The room was clean and spacious, and all very well maintained by the housekeeping and facilities staff. Who also greeted us whenever we saw them. We come to Dc a few times a year to visit with our son, have hopped hotel to hotel to find the right fit.. Well I guess we will look no further… What great staff, & we just cannot say enough about Cookie, manager at the front desk. Such a gem. See you soon!
Great location, very near metro and plenty of eateries. Fab rooftop bar.
Great location, on Sunday morning there was a great farmers market right down the road and it was easy to walk to landmarks.
We had a little mix up with valet but in the end it was fine. Also we could not figure out the TV but it was fine for the one night we stayed.
The rooms were very nice and the cleanliness was nice as well. Negosh specifically did a very good job helping with bringing bags to the car and being extremely pleasant!

This hotel far exceeded all of my expectations and has officially become my new go-to whenever I’m in the area. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The rooms were superb — impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable, and incredibly quiet. Housekeeping and the general upkeep of the property were meticulous; every area felt pristine and well cared for.
A special thank you to COOKIE who checked me in... at the front desk!! She truly made our stay memorable. Traveling with a fussy baby can be challenging, and she went above and beyond to help me at check in find a snack and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed in our room, extra blankets and everything to make sure we could settle in quickly. That level of kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made all the difference and was so appreciated.
ALL platinum status acknowledged and gifted WITHOUT asking which is rare these days at other properties.
The location is easily 5 stars on its own — surrounded by fantastic eateries, with a CVS just half a block away and the metro only a quarter block away, making everything incredibly convenient and accessible.
I’ve stayed at multiple other properties in the area, including Capital/Capitol Hilton locations and Bonvoy Marriott properties in Arlington, and this stay surpassed them all by a wide margin. The overall experience, service, cleanliness, comfort, and convenience were simply outstanding.
We will absolutely be back! Highly, highly recommend.
The General Manager made it a top priority to correct the error of the front desk personnel
The employee that checked me in wrote the incorrect room number on the room card she gave to me. After multiple attempts at opening the door, I went back downstairs to get the issue corrected. The General Manager realized the employee wrote the room number incorrectly and explained it to the employee.
The employee never acknowledged or apologized for her error.
