Comfort Inn Martinsville

The tv in my room didn’t work. Half of the lights didn’t work and there wasn’t a microwave in my room. Had to replace my room key 3 times because it stopped working.

Great place to stay for the races.

When we arrived, the building outside was brightly lit, but inside was dim lighting. Always with the rooms were with dimly lit. We were giving a set of keys that did not work for the room. The concierge gave us the right set of keys and we were able to enter only to find that the room was unfinished didn’t feel clean and and fixtures missing out of the bathroom lighting. There was no do not disturb sign available if we needed to use it. The atmosphere felt unsafe. There was what appeared to be a blood stain on a pillow case. I took pictures of everything and we packed up and left turned the keys over to the concierge showed him the pictures when he offered to give us another room. You only get one chance to make the first impression. We booked a room in another hotel.

Convenient location, average breakfast. 1st room we were given the lights in the bathroom didn't work, got a second room and the door lock wouldn't work, got a third room and some of the lights didn't work but we stayed because we were exhausted.

I am requesting a full refund of this reservation. When I arrived at the Martinsville VA Comfort Inn around 8:30pm I drove right past the Inn, there were no lights on their sign or in the parking lot to indicate that i had reached my destination. At this time of night, it is pitch black outside. I pulled up to the front door where there were numerous men standing around and sitting. The lobby looked deserted, and I as a 70 widow was extremely uncomfortable and felt unsafe to the point that I never got out of my vehicle and left to find other accommodations. I highly suggest that you remove this location from your site.

It was so dirty the rooms smelled bad I regret taking my kids to such a place

Breakfast was good. But our room the carpet was dirty my white socks were brown on the bottom from walking on the dark carpet. The carpet needs cleaning

The room was fine clean n the bed comfortable but the bathroom was a horror Mold all around bath tub n on floor in back of toilet Breakfast was fine and staff was very friendly

The bed sheets didn't look clean and the comforter was not clean and the room had a bad odor don't know if anybody was smoking in there at one time, But it didn't smell good. The employees were very kind and breakfast was good

The window shade was broken and would not close. We had to pin a towel against the window to obtain darkness and privacy at night.

Rarely had any tv,internet kept booting you off,pool was filthy.

Check in was terrible. First room I was given someone was in the room when I walked in, second room air conditioner wasn’t working. They only reason I stayed is because there is nothing else around here available!

Older property. Needs updating. The room did not have a mini refrigerator
nor a microwave. The desk clerk was nice enough to program my TV for cable channels. Breakfast was limited, but the waffles were tasty.

I have stayed at Comfort Inn a number of times when visiting my family in the area. have always had a positive experience with the facility and the staff.

It's not at standards of other properties of Comfort Inn

The elevator was dirty and sticky, the blackouts in the bedroom was broke, the duvet was dirty, the toilet was wobbly and back was off.

Everything was really nice. The staff was very responsive. I am disturbed that telephones are in the room but are not connected, and in my case, don't even have a connection in the room at all. I enjoyed breakfast, and the lady who prepared it was really nice, but would love to have had regular eggs (not fried hard) or even hard boiled ones (I don't prefer scrambled lol).

The front desk was incredibly professional and helpful. My only complaint was the tv WiFi we couldn’t connect and couldn’t watch TV Saturday at all.

No phone, fridge nor microwave in room. AC buttons don't work. No breakfast on Sunday. Pool closed, exercise room closed. Instead of fixing sticky hallway door, just stick a sign on it "door sticks push harder". Old washer/dryer on the parking lot with garbage in it.

Checked in at 3:30 pm. Room was stuffy but thought it would take time for air to get cranked up. We left as we had another baseball game at 6 pm. Returned from game. Room very stuffy. Air is not working properly. Contacted front desk. Spoke with Michael. Told him the air is barely working. It’s not kicking any air out. Asked to have manager contact me. It’s currently 11:38 pm. He said he was sorry and nothing he could do as he’s the only one here until 4 am. Told him expect to be comped something as this is ridiculous. Room is horribly stuffy. Didn’t offer to move us to another room.
