It was very nice
The window in our room is very thin letting condensation and cold air in. The heater could barely keep up.
I enjoyed that it walking distance and felt safe and the staff were kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable.
That it didn’t have a microwave in the room without being requested as well as the water pressure in the shower
Location was great.
That my room wasn't ready upon arrival, another room was given. Price didn't change from a double room to a king room. The vents are dirty and dusty.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. Our rooms were ready early before noon which was great. The hotel is a close (5 minutes walk?) to the French Quarter. The hotel was quiet, no trouble falling asleep. The rooms were clean and spacious (we had a one bedroom suite with king bed). We felt safe walking around during the day and evening (but be more alert at night). We enjoyed Lukes (shout out to Tristan) — and really liked the brussel sprouts. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. And a special thanks to Balah at the front desk who was very helpful and always greeting my family and me with such warm hospitality. The one downside was that the complimentary coffee was not put out until 6:30 am. I would stay here again.
I cannot say enough about this establishment! From the valet to check out, this hotel has blown us away with their kindness! The valet showed us where we could park for free/ cheap and told us where to get the trolley/street car pass (Walgreens BTW, for $3 each!)
Breonne at the check in/out counter was PHENOMENAL!!! We discussed some of New Orleans history and it was so eye opening to get a first hand account of the tragedies that these beautiful people had to go through.
Please do not pass this stay up! Conveniently located and worth far more than what we paid! Beds were also very comfy and the rooms were very clean!
***That being said, STAY AWAY FROM LUKES RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR! The staff have like ZERO personality, and they are INCREDIBLY slow! The food was actually pretty good but not enough for the wait and the lack of customer service. We did not order from the bar but the bartender seemed nice and like he knew his craft.***
If I could give this Hilton a negative rating, I would. I stayed here for four days, and not once did I have hot water in my room. I reported it the first morning and was told it would be fixed. I asked to be moved to another room, and staff repeatedly assured me it would “definitely be working by the next day.” Four days later, I still never had a single hot shower — which is a basic expectation anywhere in America, much less at a Hilton.
Housekeeping was no better. On day three my bed was made, but the rest of the room was left dirty — towels and Q-tips on the floor, no fresh coffee, and missing essentials. When I called to request coffee, I was told they could bring it “if they had to,” but that I could “come get it myself.” So I came down and got it myself.
Customer service throughout the property was consistently dismissive. At one point I stood at the desk for five minutes while an employee played on her phone before even acknowledging me. At checkout, I asked for a printed invoice for business reimbursement, and was told the printer “didn’t work,” but they could email it to me.
To make matters worse, when the hotel texted asking how my stay was, I responded honestly. Their solution? They awarded me 1,000 Hilton points — which was frankly insulting. I didn’t need points. I needed hot water and basic hospitality.
The combination of no hot water, poor housekeeping, lack of professionalism, and insufficient follow-up makes this the most disappointing Hilton property I’ve ever stayed at. I travel often, and I am genuinely surprised this location still carries the Hilton name.

Do yourself a favor — stay anywhere else.
I met Doy at the Hilton guest services and he was so helpful and he gave me a great deal on a hilton honors package. Brandon also helped me book a great package to NYC.

Always a nice hotel. The Marine Birthday bash was great again.
No hot water. Lukewarm showers really suck when it's cold out.
