Grace, Glamour, and Impeccable Service
Pros:

When we pulled in, the place was packed with cameras — the VfB Stuttgart football team had just arrived! Despite the buzz, a hotel attendant came straight to our car, helped with luggage, and parked it for us.
Our room wasn’t ready yet, so we relaxed in the lobby and ordered from the hotel kitchen. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, pricey, but fitting for a 5-star spot. As a sweet anniversary gesture, we received two drink vouchers for the bar. Once the room was ready, a staff member personally found us, gave a quick intro to the hotel amenities, and escorted us upstairs. Our luggage followed shortly after.
Inside the room: complimentary minibar, a gorgeous cake with treats, a chilled bottle of champagne, and a personalized letter. The room was spotless, peaceful, and the bed was extra comfy. Each day, two fresh water bottles were placed at our door when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was up — a subtle but appreciated detail.
Breakfast was another highlight: a generous buffet with hot dishes, cold cuts, fruits, cheeses, pastries, cereals, and fresh-pressed orange juice. The coffee was rich and perfectly balanced.
The wellness area was excellent. The indoor pool was spacious and relaxing, paired with a quality hot tub. The gym was well-equipped: bench press, cable machines, dumbbells up to 30kg, pull-up and dip bar set, and cardio machines. There was also a smaller outdoor pool and a private lakeside beach with loungers and discreet water access.
At checkout, the staff booked us a restaurant and sent us off with water bottles and snacks for the road! A thoughtful finish to an already fantastic stay. And yes, we’ll absolutely be back!

Aufenthalt schön, jedoch hat der Service sehr an Qualität verloren.

Die Lage, das Hotel, Restaurant italienisch. Wir kommen seit 20 Jahren in dieses Hotel. Leider gibt es bei Althoff kein Willkommensgeschenk( in Form von Süssen mehr) . Als es zur Dorintgruppe gehörte, stand eine edle Rose mit Obst und auserwähltem Süssen ( aus der Hauskonditorei)

Cons:

Ankunft 6.1. halbe std warten in der Lobby bis wir gefragt wurden ob wir etwas trinken möchten. Immer lange Wartezeit bis die Getränke serviert wurden .

Das große geräumige Zimmer mit Blick auf den See. Die Großzügigkeit des ganzen Hotelkomplexes vom Foyer bis zum Spa- und Saunabereich und natürlich das große Schwimmbad.
