Fabulous hotel in a fabulous location for sightseeing! The staff was attentive and genuine. Specifically, Rob was fabulous! He anticipated our needs, was genuine, fantastic conversationalist, and made our experience even better.
Stayed for 6 days at the Trafalgar as a family of three. The service and welcome was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the team really shone when dealing with our 6 year old boy. We also had a celebration with family and friends there which again was excellent. The location is unbelievable and taking our son down to see the palace etc which is minutes away was a delight. He played each day in St James Park. Highly recommend.
Location was excellent - walking distance to theatre.
Great in room service.
Breakfast selection a bit disappointing, but we didn't leave hungry.
Room seemed different to the one I thought I'd booked.
Roof top bar was closed.
My daughter and I had a wonderful lunch in the Rockwell restaurant. The food was excellent and the service from Rob was absolutely fantastic; attentive, relaxed, polite and nothing was too much trouble.
We had lunch at this Bistrot for our anniversary (from Italy) and we were welcomed VERY WELL!
Wonderful atmosphere, very good food and very friendly and attentive staff. We were served by Rob who treated us amazingly. It was like being home!
In addition, they surprised us with a dessert for our anniversary!
Thank you for this beautiful memory of our vacation in London
A fantastic stay - the hotel was exceptional and can’t recommend highly enough!
Sajjad was super helpful and couldn’t do enough to assist our stay.
We spent 5 days in London for our 25th Anniversary. We loved The Trafalgar St. James Hotel. We wanted to be on Trafalgar Square: We have studied the Battle of Trafalgar since college, never forgetting Nelson's command to his fleet as he attacked the combined French and Spanish Fleet off Cadiz, Spain, "England expects every man will do his duty". Consequent to Nelson's victory, Napoleon's Grande Armée could never attempt an invasion of England!
Only a few steps from Trafalgar Square and the hotel is "The Mall" - a wide avenue pointing straight at Buckingham Palace with Royal St. James Park on either side and Hyde Park just beyond. We walked and ran in St. James Park and Hyde Park. His Majesty's Theater is a five minute walk from this hotel. The Phantom of the Opera is still there and we attended a wonderful afternoon matinee performance. Recommended - and what we did - and easy to reach from this hotel: High Tea at Aqua Shard on the 31rst floor of the Shard and the nearby Borough Market where we enjoyed paella with lobster tails at Furness Fish Grill.
This recently renovated hotel is spotless with great modern amenities. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was quiet and very comfortable. We were fully at ease and we felt safe at all times in this hotel and we rested and slept very well. The hotel staff and concierge were friendly, highly competent and most helpful and they added substantially to the wonderful time we had in London for our Anniversary.
We beg understanding regarding our photos: We took no photos of the hotel itself because we think the available hotel brochures do the hotel justice. We wanted to show the many nearby wonders and adventures surrounding this great hotel.
The welcome was exceptional with the added cheeky glass of fizz
the staff very friendly

Great hotel and location. Very kind and helpful staff, especially Zakira!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Fab location. Good breakfast choice.
Thought it a little expensive, our room was nice, no view, but was a little in the small side for the price paid.
Great service at the restaurant, thanks Chandavi and team for making the birthday celebration dinner so enjoyable!
KGaPifa was a huge help as concierge, giving us helpful local knowledge and restaurant ideas. He was so pleasant and nice. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was lovely and kept well cleaned.
We loved the restaurant. The breakfast was amazing and the service even better. Rob was our server and he was AMAZING! he went above and beyond and helped us with our allergies. Kudos to Rob for all his help!
A wonderful hotel from which many sights are easily accessible on foot. Special praise for the very friendly staff. Especially with Rayssa, the day begins with a good breakfast and perfect service.
