Room was good size. Got to check in early and check out late.
Not good pillows.
The afternoon staff were very friendly. Was greeted as soon as I walked in. Very informative. The free cookies at the front desk were very good, nice little perk. Bed very comfortable.
Morning staff at check-out were very short and not really pleasant. Breakfast was good but the eggs were awful dry. Had to call front desk twice late at night because of the noise above us. Bunch of kids running back and forth in the room. Families with kids need to be on the first floor or separate from couples without kids.
Everything was great the rooms are very sound proof so that was really nice.
Breakfast was not great. The food in the warmer was not at the temperature that it should have been. The potatoes were almost cold as were the eggs, and the gravy was only warm not hot.
Comfortable room, enjoyable breakfast, friendly staff, close to the expo center. Just what we needed.
The hotel staff were all super friendly and the hotel its self was well put together and clean. We had to leave before breakfast was served for the state wrestling tournament and the hotel staff had put together breakfast bags to go for us so we didn't go hungry or have to buy breakfast.
The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food is hot in the morning and you’ll enjoy your stay.

Breakafast should start at 530 not 630... (I wish All Hotels Would Start Breakfast At 530 or 500 for Us Motel Living Traveling Workers...
When I arrived to my room, it was absolutely freezing. I cranked the heat, but it took forever. Finally I ended up going to the lobby for an hour to warm up. I went back to my room, but it was still cold. I then decided to take a hot shower. Not a good first impression.
The staff at Phoenix Inn were great! It was also very nice to be greeted with fresh chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival! And the continental breakfast was great!
Friendly, efficient check in. Clean inside and out. Huge room.
