Beautiful room stunning views
Comfortable bed
Great location in central Glasgow. Spacious, clean and welcoming room. Very comfy bed. Absolutely no complaints!! The complimentary mini bar was delightful.
Nothing
Most things. Well all things bar 1 teeny detail
The lighting was a bit poor, especially in the wardrobe corner where the dresser was
Beautiful hotel with a lovely room complete with very comfortable bed. The bathroom amenities were suberb. Location was very convenient to restaurants and Queens Train station yet was very quiet at night. Delicious complimentary breakfast too. Recommend ❤️
Nothing, 100% great.
The location is very central, and the staff very friendly.
The room was very dated/tired, with worn surfaces and split padding on the armchair. We paid for the 'best' package in terms of services, but this felt 'cheap'. Dissapointing
Super cute hotel in the middle of Glasgow. Room was clean and roomy, and the mini bar was free. Staff was friendly very helpful with tips for our stay. Location can't be beat especially for restaurants, shopping, and Queen street station. Would stay again.
Nothing.
Bed perfect. Location perfect all round coudnt fault
Air conditioning wasnt working and could not open window for noise from duckting outside our window which kept us awake most of the night although window was closed
Great location in central Glasgow, next door to Queen St. Rail Station and a short walk to bus station. Spacious. comfortable, well-appointed room with stocked mini-bar. Lovely breakfast room overlooking city rooftops. Staff were were knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. I did have an issue getting hot water for my shower. Housekeeping showed up immediately and when they couldn't make it work either, they opened a neighboring room so I could use that shower. They even comped me breakfast for my inconvenience.
We travel a lot all over the world and the George Carlton was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The staff went above and beyond to assist us. Can’t say enough good things about them. Thanks for making our visit to Glasgow so memorable.
Absolutely no issues.
Just back from our 4th stay this year at this hotel. We were in an explore room with great views for people watching. Room itself was spotless and having stayed previously in the older style rooms the refurbishment is lovely.
All staff are very friendly, professional and nothings too much hassle.
The location of the hotels ideal for the main shopping area.
This is a beautiful hotel in Glasgow, close to the Buchanon bus station, the Glasgow train station, and many pubs and restaurants. Our room, which was a “snug king with complementary minibar” was large, nicely furnished, and with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and roomy. We enjoyed a walk over to the Mackintosh Tea Rooms for a late-afternoon tea. My wife and I stayed only one night, but would certainly stay here again.
Mites Bad. Overcharged. Noisy
Wooden floors means noise from about . Bedside glare badly .
The rooms are beautiful and stunning. The new showers were amazing however in our room we had an issue with the rain shower, we bought it to the hotel attention and they offered to move us room but we were comfortable and they cleared up all the water than came out of shower area onto the bathroom floor.
The staff were so friendly and chatty, they were always around and on hand to help, the cleaner on floor 3 was fantastic the room was so clean and tidy and such a friendly member of staff.
I would like to give Stacey a special mention she was so lovely to speak with during our stay and she was on hand to help with the overflow of water problem we had on the first night, she did offer us to move rooms however we were happy and comfortable in that room, we understand that teething issue appear to new rooms, we never used the rain shower the remainder of our stay as we didn’t want it to happen again.
Can’t wait to come back once all renovations are all complete to see the difference. The area where this hotel is perfect for everything.
There was nothing that we didn’t like
