Great stay , great location
Pros:

Location was great

Cons:

Wished there was a way to get around the other side of the hotel to get to the beach etc quicker ( there was a fence there with no opening)

Great Locatuon, but could be a littme cleaner.
Pros:

I loved the location. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The rooms were a little sticky, and one of the beds felt gritty.

The good & bad
Pros:

Location was excellent. Having beach chairs & towels was great as well as access to bicycles

Cons:

Our 1st room, we had no beach chairs staff had to bring them, safe was not functional and could not be fixed. Sink water is backwards, hot is cold and cold is hot. Had to be moved. 2nd room sink was hooked up same way. Do-able but weird. Floors were handy, not clean..Very expensive motel for old, tired rooms..

Pros:

The Hotel didn't offer breakfast. I like the fact the it was just a few feet from the beach. The beach was clean & well kept.
The bed, mattress was very comfortable and the room was clean.

Cons:

The section we were placed, seems like the oldest building and yes, it was 'run down'. Our bath tub was discolored and old and without shower curtain for the days we were there. 😔 (room 314)

Not with the money you will spend. Dirty and outdated.
Pros:

Walking distance to restaurants and souvenirs. The entire area is pay to park so good to be able to walk. On the beach too

Cons:

The staff were very nice and tried to be helpful. I have stayed at nicer Motel 8 than this. This costs more than my hotel in Paris but was very run down and dirty. The showers are full of mold, the walls dirty, and the pillow even had hair on it. When the cleaning crew came to clean the bathroom they told me there was no sense moving rooms because all the bathrooms looked like this. The public beach was just as dirty with trash and cigarette buds embedded in the sand. Balcony looks out on public beach parking and the smell of weed was too strong. Go down the road to any other island…St. Simons, Jekyll, Hilton Head. Pools are small, above ground, and sit in the literal parking lot. When you get in the pool the floor shifts as you walk.
