Cons:

The staff has no hospitality awareness. Front desk manager was great though. The toilet ran and made weird noises after every other flush. The valet is always on their phones.

Whitehall Surpassed my expectations
Pros:

The stay at Whitehall was impecable and the staff was so helpful !! Kudos to Shirley . Melvin and Jobn at the front desk . Couldn’t be more attentive and ready to assist . Location is perfect too. Will definitely come back in my next business meetings in Houston.

Pros:

Great! The room upgrade to the Presidential suite was a nice touch, and very exciting! Edgar's was a bit I t laid back for a 4 star hotel restaurant, BUT the food was good and it was still very cozy. 10/10 would definitely stay here again (hopefully soon!)

Pros:

I would not go back. The rooms are dated, food at the restaurant was not good at all, the lobby was amazing and staff was nice. (Except the Valet drivers) Shower didn’t drain well, nothing like standing in water while taking a shower. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2

Pros:

Room cost quite a bit and smelled heavily of cigarettes. Wasn’t worth complaining about for me since I was only there one night, maybe if I’d mentioned they could have accommodated me better. Not terrible but not worth the price.

Staff was great!
Pros:

The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were amazing. In terms of the staff, no complaints, but the room was actually dirty upon check in, debris in the bathroom and under bed and side of bed. Desk chair was dirty, I didn’t complain as we were already there.

Great weekend stay

Our stay at The Whitehall Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect—close to everything downtown and near several parking options, which made it both convenient and affordable. From our 5th-floor room, we had a stunning view of the city. The shower and garden tub were spacious and perfect for two, adding a luxurious touch to our weekend.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly, and full of energy. The host who checked us in went above and beyond, giving us extra attention and recognizing our engagement celebration. Each time we returned from an outing, he greeted us by name, which made us feel truly special.
We also loved dining at Edgar’s Hermano, the on-site restaurant. We ate there every day, and every meal—from the filet mignon to the chicken tenders and fries—was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and elegant. We even spent time in the common areas taking photos, enjoying coffee, and soaking in the cozy ambiance.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely book here again!

Far away from with a problem.
