It was a good zone
The thin walls, the water didn't have pressure, we couldn't get the water to right temperature, it was very hot or very cold, no ac, the windows are very old

Although i was too early i could have my room without extra payment. Friendly staff even brought my luggage ro second floor.
I was allocated a room in a separate building which looked like a written off property, there was no safety measures and the carpets were smelly and dirty, this side building is not suitable for human accommodation and should not be used, authorities has to do something about it and inspect the other building. Also the receptionist was grumpy and was not welcoming.
This place is pretty run down and not a typical experience of a Hotel ive ever had. We arrived pretty early and check in wasnt till 3pm, so we asked to leave our bags for which we were charged £5 per bag, in a really run down basement room to be fair it was only accessable with a key, but knowbody came with us to the room so its not safe! The lift was out of order and our room was up several flights of stairs, when we got into the room we noticed the floor tiles int he bathroom were quite broken and made a note to be careful there. Of the 8 power sockets in the room only one worked so i went about making a complaint and met two male workers on the stairs and they came and checked we were correct, we needed to have at least our phones charged for the weekend. We were moved rooms immedialty. The next room was a marginal improvement on the 1st but still had issues with questionable stains on the carpet but it was a cheap hotel and we had seen the other room! I wouldnt stay here again but considering the location and the price we paid it was fair!

The location, and the staff we're very friendly and accommodating.
Elevator not working no AC in the rooms. But, the price was in line for what we got.

Quiet room, good shower, comfortable bed.
There is nothing wrong with the property. It is old and is undergoing maintenance.

This hotel was well situated being about 5 mins walk from Paddington station. It is a little dated, however, the rooms were clean, bedding was clean, shower was powerful. There were even complimentary toiletries which I didn't expect in the price. Fan in the room worked well, it was very hot when we stayed. Would stay again for one or two nights, but probably not if it were a longer stay. Didn't eat here, so can't comment on food. There were lots of eating places nearby and 10 mins on the tube into the West End.
The lift wasn't working and looking at the pinned on paper sign that looked like it had need there ages, I would guess the lift hasn't worked for a long time. We were on the 3rd floor, but because of the lay out, that mean 6 sets of stairs! My son and I are able so we managed, but we only had backpacks not suitcases, that would have been another issue.
Good location. That’s it.
The shower screen shattered when my daughter shut the door. Glass all over her. Legs cut to ribbons. Glass and blood all over the floor. The man on the desk wouldn’t call an ambulance, said she it wasn’t his job to do so. He was hostile to my daughter and her girlfriend. Wouldn’t help in any way.
She spent all night in A and E as had to have x ray to check no embedded glass so they missed out on the London sights. Was (and still is) limping and in pain and didn’t want to stay at this hotel as felt very nervous about the way the staff had treated her and her girlfriend. They decided they would feel safer moving to another hotel despite not being able to get the money back. I gladly paid for them to get a safe hotel.
Reported this incident to Booking.com and they spoke to the hotel who were unconcerned.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.
