It’s the people
Pros:

Staff are the strong point. To a person they were friendly and helpful. I would call out Tom the server, Paul the bartender and Cristal and Adrianna on the front desk. These folks went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

What a GREAT hotel!
Pros:

This was truly one of the best hotels we've stayed in at this price. The room was spacious, clean, stylish, quiet and the temperature was perfect. The room came with a steamer for our clothes which was a nice perk.

One of the elevators was out of service, so it did take a while to catch one that wasn't completely full in the morning, but it wasn't too bad. Most guests chuckled about it. No big deal.

I would say I'm a fairy picky traveler, and I get the ick from hotels pretty easily. Not this time. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great first visit to the Whitney Peak Hotel
Pros:

Great rooms. Great service from the moment of arrival. The location is ideal. Parking is not great since it is across the street and in an older garage with a strange layout. At least the parking is reasonably priced as is their valet service. Hotel and room were spotless. The food at the on site restaurant was also quite good and reasonably priced. I will stay here again.

Perfect Location
Pros:

The Whitney Peak Hotel in Reno is the perfect place to stay within a short walk of the Amtrak station. I loved the location-it’s close to the train station and several parks. The hotel has a lot of amenities. The front desk and valet employees were very helpful, friendly, and professional.

Nice, clean and quiet.
Pros:

Hotel was clean quiet and near where I needed to be. I would suggest not using the app to check in. When I arrived folks that checked in at the counter got their rooms immediately and my room was not ready and I checked in the night before on the app. Not a big deal I just went to the counter and they gave me a room but the app was a waste of time. Also the virtual room key through the app worked for the elevator but not my room, again not a big deal but the app was a waste.

Concert with Wakin Chau, once in a lifetime
Pros:

We came to see our favorite Taiwanese-Canton Pop star from the 90’s Wakin Chau and your hotel is in a perfect location for us to stay before and after the show Reno Conference Center.

Great Views of Reno and the 4th Fireworks!
Pros:

We stayed for the entire purpose of having a nice dinner out, and watching the fireworks from our room. We preferred not to be with the crowds. I had called the day before and asked the front desk clerk for a suggestion on a good room location to view the fireworks. She definitely chose the right one! I wish I remembered her name to let her know how much I appreciated her suggestion and room assignment. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfy. My only complaint is the very noisy air conditioner, which worked very hard for very little result. Other than that minor annoyance, everything was remarkable. Thank you!
