Room was clean. The carpet was worn by the door
The safety chain was missing. But the room was nice. Bed was very comfortable. It was a spacious room. Enjoyed my stay.
It is good
Check in staff wasn't very knowledgeable didn't speak good English to comacate
Old but in good condition. Nice pool, hot tub and great atmosphere.
This place seems to be transition and much needed remodel. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and there were no room darkening shades so we had a street light shining in our window the first night. We got a blanket from desk clerk to block the light for our 2nd night. The bathroom shower unit was brand new but the towel racks had not been replaced. There was a big chunk out of the counter in the kitchen and the tile floor. The GM of the hotel was very kind and told us they will be upgrading everything.
Waited 20 minutes to check in due to nobody at desk, rooms reeked with disinfectant, strong smell checked out next day and went somewhere else
The room we were assigned to looked like a dark dungeon on walking into it as there was very little light. We were assigned to a room at the very end of the hallway which didn’t help. We understand that the property is being renovated, but the outside area did not look safe or clean.
The Dodge House has so many fun things to do within the facility! It was fun to just walk around and look at all of the memorabilia!! The staff was phenomenal and so helpful and accommodating!! 5 stars for the young man at the front desk on the early evening of September 25, 2025!!!!!
A great pool and hot tub after the end of a long road trip day. Room was clean. Comfortable with plenty of space. And room rates were extremely low given the value of the facilities. If you're traveling with kids, tons of fun stuff for them to do right here at the hotel. A basketball court, a volleyball court, the pool, and the hot tub.
Real nice place, cool things to see on the property.
This was not a good stay. We had to move rooms due to our sheets being damp. The place is run down. It is so sad that this historic place was probably shut down by Covid or poor management. Our windows didn’t have locks. The place needs updated.
Did not stay there
Very kitschy and cute when you enter. That’s the best part. Shower rod barely hanging, lights and smoke detectors detached from the walls. Furniture falling apart. Raunchiest toilet seat ever (but it was clean looking). Bare bulbs in lighting, no sconces. Metal box at back door had broken panel I happened to get too close to and scratch myself pretty good. We could see how it was probably something back in the day, but that day has long passed. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
This place needs work. Rooms smell. Lamps don’t work. Front desk guy wasn’t friendly at all.
Very attentive and friendly staff
This place was so gross !
At check in I was given 3 room keys to “ go check which room is clean and you can have that one “ - that’s not my job!!!
The pool hot tub are was carpeted and smelled bad - the concrete edge and walkway of the hot tub and pool had missing chunks - even my kid didn’t want to swim.
The rooms were awful! Gross. Dirty . Old. Outdated. The air conditioning didn’t work and it was 100 degrees- the bath/ shower was stained - the exhaust fan and the heat lamp did not work - there was no breakfast - the restaurant was awful. This place is serious need of updating and scrubbing! I came from NY to dodge city - this was my first visit and I was NOT impressed. I left a day early bc it was so bad- and I did not get any compensation for it.
The place was nice and clean.
Most uncomfortable bed ever - would had been better to sleep on the sidewalk- the parking lot was full of potholes - they gave me 3 room keys to go “ check what one is clean “ awful awful place - I even checked out a day early bc it was so bad
I have stayed here many times. Not because it's a 5-star hotel with all the perfect amenities, but because it's a piece of history, steeped in times past. It was where Wyatt Earp and Mat Masterson stayed in another time and century. It's been added onto over the years, but stayed in business. It's old, the carpet is stained, it's a bit dusty in places, but the atmosphere is unlike any other sterile hotel you might find.
As an added plus, the restaurant on the premises serves really good food. Don't miss their breakfast buffet.
Just fyi, there is no house phone in the rooms. But the basics are there; big beds, nice showers. A TV.
Stop by and sit awhile (or sleep) at the Dodge House, and soak in a bit of old west history.
