Not a Great Experience
Pros:

We booked this hotel at the last minute (with less than a week to spare), choosing it on the basis of it's general rating, and the "Best Western" name. We really ought to have read the more recent reviews in greater detail, and looked more closely at the pictures, too. On the outset, this property turned out to be an older, motel with a sense of deterioration; more like an aging Motel 6 than a Best Western.

We checked in after a five-hour drive, planning to sleep early. We were greeted by an underlying musty smell, which my wife, who is sensitive to such things, found very disturbing. We were stunned to see that the sheets on one of the two beds in our room were so threadworn that most people, to say nothing of hotel management, would have discarded them rather than inflicting them on hotel guests paying good money for an overnight stay. When I confronted them about this, they offered a mere 5% discount - the princely sum of $6; in my wife's words, "like throwing coins at a beggar."

The breakfast spread in the morning was acceptable, and beyond the "grab a muffin and go"-variety on tends to find at such places. However, when the time arrived for the conclusion of the breakfast availability, a management person walked through and loudly announced that breakfast was now over. This didn't seem directed at anyone in particular, but struck us as rude and unprofessional. We had never seen this before, as readers have likely themselves experienced, this is usually done by staff quietly putting breakfast items away, and allowing people to sit and talk.

We travel to Cincinnati frequently, but will not be staying at this property again at any time in the foreseeable future.

Terrible stay
Pros:

This hotel is terrible ! Our shower didn’t work and maintenance didn’t fix it . The room smelled musty ! Blanket on bed had a huge cigarette hole burned in it. A guy outside was loud using bad language . Was kept up most of the night with yelling and screaming in the room next door . Dirty washcloth in the bathroom !!
